nod Symphony or Damn is my favorite by TTD, but Vibrator is right behind it.

WTF ever happened to him after that? He was bloody brilliant and then he went POOF; uninteresting album after uninteresting album.

AND a dumb name change; why did he feel the need to mimic Prince in almost everything he did?

Wildcard was still brilliant no no no!.
And no way did he imitate Prince with the name change. And contrary to Prince he still sticks to it and he officially changed his name and everybody in his private life calls him by his new name too. Noit saying it was a smart move, but for him it was something he felt he had to do and so he did shrug. And he didn't imitate Prince with anything else he did either hmph!. He just happens to be a light-skinned black brilliant but crazy artist who got big shortly after Prince and was influenced by similar artists Prince was. But overall I don't see a lot of ressamblance at all.

At the end of the day, though, this is a Prince forum. Prince's dominance in this poll, however, can also be attributed to the fact that while his albums may not have always been as consistently amazing as they were in the 80s, he still was churning out so many amazing songs.

Hey guys and dolls. I just wanted to say I loved doing this. Sure, it was stressful, but this thread (and the previous one) were the reason I actually returned to Org.

So thanks Ian, for The System. Let's hope more people will contribute on the 80's, just so we have less Janet and Kylie. (grin) Or, in the case of the 80's, less Siouxsie. (widegrin) I wills tart compiling this week!

Big hug.

I didn't say that. I said 'less'. Meaning that we need more people contributing.
