Michael Jackson Mural to Adorn "Bad" Brooklyn Subway Station


The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership negotiated an agreement to create a mural of the late King of Pop at the entrance of the Hoyt-Schermerhorn train station, the New York Post reports.

The display is still being planned with no word on who will design the artwork, which will be displayed on the front of an office building at 45 Hoyt Street.

The location holds special significance because the Hoyt-Schemerhorn station is where director Martin Scorsese directed Jackson in the iconic 1987 music video "Bad."

"We see this as a great opportunity to potentially establish Hoyt-Schermerhorn’s role in American pop culture and as a tourist destination to attract people to a part of Downtown Brooklyn already rapidly growing," Joe Chan, president of the partnership told The Post.

Since the project will be shown on property belonging to real estate company Beneson Capital, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's permission is not required.

This is not the first time a Hoyt-Schermerhorn Jackson tribute was proposed -- Last fall, the MTA rejected City Councilwoman Letitia James’ suggestion to rename the station after the "Thriller" singer and hang up a plaque of him.

LITTLE sister Janet will finally join her big brothers in The Jackson 5 for a world tour this year, according to chief family spokesman Jermaine.

When asked if the Jackson 5 would ever grace Australian shores again, Jermaine insisted the tour plans were well under way.

His family is to blame for a LOT of things, boy. Look at what Randy did to Michael during the trial and later years. Look at what Joe and Leonard Rowe did with TII. I've already stated MANY times that Michael should have run away, hire hitmans to fuck them up, cut contact, have a tougher fist and so on. But, sometimes, he had NO choice. No, he was not. Here's why. When everyone in your family keeps asking for money and more money and money and more money, keeps sueing you for money, keeps deceiving you for money, keeps harassing you for money, making schemes on your back for money, blackmailing you for money and more money and even more money, things aren't that easy. Ohh, and when your family keeps signing deals and getting sued for millions (which the siblings and Joe did on a daily basis) the money can never be enough. That's the problem: a billion dollars wasn't enough for them. They want more and more and more and more.

Once again, and just to end the discussion, Michael should have run away from home when he was 18. He should have gone to another country FAR AWAY from his family. And, mainly, he should have had a tougher fist. Now, go read what they did to Michael all their lives (and stop by what Randy and Joe continuously did to him...try not to get too shocked) and you will realize that he was around sharks.
