Which artists/bands should go away?

OK, first of all, I wanna say that this isn't a HATE thread. It's about listing the names of certain bands and artists that you feel are just jagged or very far from their/her/his prime; in other words, musicians that you feel they have nothing worthy to offer anymore, not even well-crafted songs...
You can also include the reasons...

-Aerosmith (they have been releasing lazy albums since 1997 and Steven Tyler looks jagged... sorry bros, but I guess the Stones are out of this world...)

-Prince (sorry, but Planet Earth truly disappointed me and MPLSound/Lotus Flower has been the end of the road for me...and since he's not interested in world tours anymore, he can go to hell)

-REM (they're are still strong songwriters, but their new albums don't have the spark of even their late 90s albums...a truly unremarkable career after Automatic for the people, if you ask me...)

-Santana (Supernatural should have been both the comeback and the farewell... neutral )

-Mariah Carey (I'm truly sorry, but at this point I'm more interested in her chest razz than in her latest records... neutral )

-Whitney Houston (why people is still buying tickets for one of her shows is beyond me... ill)

-Bruce Springsteen ( confused well, if Magic/Working on a dream is the best he can craft nowadays, then count me out...)

-Eminem (man, oh man...)

I would also like to add Beyonce. She just needs to stop for a while.

If you think they should go away, why do you apologize for your opinion?

Planet Earth was a good album, but his last great album was 10 years before that.

Totally disagree on the REM front, they are still solid, they just arent 25 anymore, they are 45, i dont care who you are you arent still thinking the way you did when you were 25, and if you are, time for help. REM is still one of the strongest bands around and one of the best from the last 25+years, in an eera now that has no great new bands.

As for the others well i never liked Whitney, Bruce i like but im not all into him like that.Eminem can fall off a bridge, always told people he was a Vanilla Ice wannabe at best.Mariah was never a good album artist and now that her singles are bad and immature its really showing through. Santana, well Supernatural summed it all up, case closed there, thats who he has become at this point the duet guy. Aerosmith have now become a parody, just the fact that this band "twitters" back and forth to each other is reason to be mad, this is a band that would say "Shove your tweets up your ass" now they use the damn thing??

And Mr.Prince well what can i say, i have been to 76 of his shows and not since 2001-2002 have i felt blown away by the albums, sure the 2004 tour and playing etc..but that was a farewell to the road tour like he said, it was a nostalgia tour and the end of that era. Now i feel Prince struggles for a cohesive sound, i heard the new song and its good its just ive heard it so many times already, the camille voices the breaks in the song, the solos are even the same. I just feel that Prince needs to do something raw, no band, no programming, no producing just straight to tape recording, shit, he has the ability, and still does good music its just that its, repeating from album to album at this point.

Yeah you see with Prince its always going to be like that, some will say shit and some will say good record. But i rather not say an album from an "artist" is shit, sure some are better than others but take each one as a new one and dont compare to another its that simple. Planet Earth to me i felt had some good songs, but went off track somewhat with cuts like "Future Baby Mama" never liked taht song, but overall i felt it was a more cohesive record.

I know a lot of people love them and they make gobs of ridiculous money, but I can't stand the black eyed peas. Can they please go away?

Every time a hit has oversaturated the market in recent years that is godawful, I find myself complaining about it to someone and they always tell me "That's the Black Eyed Peas", and I just shake my head wondering how they keep doing it.

That "Tonight's Gonna be a good night" just might top Macarena as the most annoying song of all time for me.

All shit hoppers, especially all rapper swho are Lil something or Young something or in fact anyone with a misspelt name.
Any artist who thinks they are on a verge of a huge comeback, more than 10 years after their last hit. I am talking about you Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Cher, Billy Joel. These people have been around since the birth of music, enough already.
All sexy soul (and neer rap) singers eg Chris Brown, Rihanna (Both marginal talents at best) Neyo, Usher, Maxwell, DAngelo, etc
Young metal and trash groups
Commercial punk pop groups like Nickelback, Blink 182, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers (By the way great, Stadium Arcadium was an abortion)
Bad taste groups like Slipknot and death metallers.
Talentless bimboes like Britney, Whitney (A walking crack pipe), Amy Drughouse (She had one hit - ONE HIT!!!!!) Christina, September (Talentless Gaga clone wannabe).

So a few
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

I like your list, though I don't think Green Day belongs on it. I don't own any of their albums, but they are definitely more competent than the others you mentioned.

Also, Amy Winehouse only has 2 albums. She should leave the TABLOIDS, yes, the public eye, maybe, but Back to Black is actually a fantastic album for anyone who will give it a try. If she had it in her to make another album of equal quality, I would not want her to go away.

You're gonna have different takes on it. I didn't care for Planet Earth
either but loved 3121 and felt Lotusflow3r was better than people
give it credit for.

As for artists that should go away..
Just for starters
P.Diddy
Busta Rhymes
Justin Timberlake
Britney Spears
Ginuwine
Trey Wrongz
