It's one of those (REO Speedwagon voice) "Heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who....." stories I've heard from people in the industry. It's like the thing at the baseball game I mentioned. It's not etched in stone as a fact but one of those "Industry Stories".

What's weird is we had a band manager from LA who told us this years ago before Stacey Brown along with the Gina Sprauge story and we were like "No blankety blank way. I don't believe that."

So as always use your sense of discernment.

Not only does he hate gays, but do you really think that he would do that to one of his kids? The guy is an asshole and he abused his children physically and emotionally, but let's be real, I doubt he did this to purposely harm them. In his twisted mind he was probably thinking that it was for their own good. He obviously did care about them. If anything, I think he probably forced Michael to be with women at a young age to "make him a man." That's probably one more thing that affected Michael's relationship with women.
I am simply better than you...end of story.

Yeah I agree with this. I think that allegation is pushing it too far along with the sexual abuse of his daughters claim. I don't believe Joe wanted to hurt them in that kind of way. I think he did the horrible things he did as a way of making sure they always obeyed him.

Maybe, if there is any kind of truth to the rumour, it could be that Joe was too trusting and eager for more business deals and didnt know the sexual abuse was going on. Maybe he thought the businessmen actually did want to discuss business with Michael. But I just can't see any of that kind of stuff going on. As soft as Michael is I dont think he would of let that happen or put up with it. He still seemed quite strong behind the shyness

Stacy Brow is full of it. Just another shit stirrer who had a man-crush on Jackson.

I often wonder how people like him make a living. I mean, who pays them... gives them employment and currency... for the worthless shit they do?

Destroying his kids' self-esteem was a way of getting control. Joe wanted his kids to think they were nothings and that they needed him for the rest of their lives, therefore they would never fire him as their manager. That was Joe's way of controlling his kids, of making sure he would always be able to make money off of them.

The abuse was also a way of scaring his kids and, therefore, make them obey him. It was a way of making them do exactly what he wanted. A way of making them do exactly what he desired, without any opposition (because they were frightened). Latoya mentioned that in her book, by the way!
And Joe had another strategy: isolate his sons from the world. An isolated person tends to be naive, easily manipulable. That's exactly what Joe wanted. He didn't wnat Michael to "get smart" because he would start realizing that some of Joe's management choices only benefited his father's money-hungry ways. Joe wanted to keep Michael naive and manipulable so that he would always be capable of deceiving his son, of making bad career choices for him (choices that would only benefit Joe) without opposition from his son, without being fired, without protest.

PS: I think Joe is an evil guy, but I don't think he would let his slave/son be sexually abused, because: 1- He hates gays. 2- He thinks Michael had to have sex with women in order to "become a man". Being sexually abused wouldn't help the process. However, do I believe that Joe was capable of prostituting his son for a LOT of money? Yes.

Two different reports:

In 2004, before Michael’s child molestation trial began, I received a call from vulture journalist Daphne Barak. She said, “I have Joseph Jackson here and we want to talk to you about a project.” I hung up.

Roger F.

Ironically, Barak now is the common thread between Rwaramba and Michael’s parents, Katherine and Joe Jackson. Back in 2005, Barak interviewed the Jacksons, then sold the interview to CBS. Sources told me then that Barak kicked back a fee to the Jacksons. In 2005 I reported that both Joe Jackson and Daphne Barak were secretly in business with a man named Charles Coupet, who also served as a literary agent for Macaulay Culkin’s father, Kit. A year earlier, in 2004, Barak called this reporter and said, “I have Joseph Jackson on the phone and we want to talk to you about a project.” I passed.

eek

I refuse to believe in this. I sincerely don't think Joe is that bad.

To anyone who doens't know who Daphne Barak is, here's a brief explanation: she's just like Mike Walker, former National Enquirer's director.

I spent this afternoon browsing through the Opus. It's a beautiful tribute to MJ. But, despite the size of it and its many pages it still doesn't cover EVERYTHING, I guess his phenomenal career can't be contained in a book. I smiled all the way through, but when I reached the end and closed the book, a sadness came over me. I didn't want the book to end. I'm fine now, though. That's just how it is being a lover of MJ.

that's true but i hate when people kill others..intentionally or not and act like they i nothing wrong.

murray deserves no sympathy and if the legal system doesn't get him some angered fan will, trust

But wishing death on someone also makes YOU (in general) a killer. So you're no different from the person that did the murder in the first place

wishing death on someone is not good but doing so doesnt' make you a killer. if i wish for a million dollars does that make me a millionaire?

Over the Christmas break my family had an impromptu Michael Jackson dance party with every generation participating. We chatted about MJ's influence, his energy. My aunt said she wondered if he knew he was appreciated and LOVED as much as he is and I said ABSOLUTELY! How could he have not known how much he was adored by his fans? No one can have the kinds of successes that he continues to have (even in death) and not know how special he was to us. This guy sold out the O2 Arena 50 times (and probably could have sold it out 100 times) in record time. The outpouring of LOVE and GRIEF worldwide has been unprecedented in every nook and cranny of the globe. Sure. He knew he was loved

What will become of Michael's giving tree at Neverland? Is it still standing tall? I think that tree is like a piece of pop culture history. If it wasn't for that tree, the world might not have some of Michael's most well known songs. I hope whoever ends up with Neverland Ranch keeps that tree well taken care.

I don't remember if I saw it in Jermaine's interview on Larry King from Neverland back in July or not. Anyone know?

I'm sure he loved the adulation of his fans, but I remembered in his book "Moonwalker" when he was talking about fame, he said everyone wants a piece of him. Therefore, I am sure he went through moments where he wondered is he loved because he's Micheal Jackson or is he truly loved because he's Micheal Jackson, especially his inner circle of people.

MSNBC reports that Los Angeles prosecutors and the LAPD are seeking manslaughter charges against Dr. Murray and they'll be going to a grand jury in 2010.

This is the only link I could find at the moment: Jackson Doctor Conrad Murray to Avoid Murder Charge? -Newsroom| Posted on 12/28/09|Filed Under Pop Culture, Michael Jackson

Embattled physician Conrad Murray will likely evade murder charges related to the death of Michael Jackson if sources close to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office are correct. According to the Daily Beast, prosecutors have decided to avoid a complicated murder charge and will instead look to charge the same man who administered what has been called a "lethal cocktail" of drugs with manslaughter. While currently, Dr. Murray is allowed to practice, sources say he could be charged early next year when prosecuters present their case to a grand jury. Dr. Murray has been under investigation since Jackson's death June 25. http://www.singersroom.co.../...Search + Results *article from another fansite.
