I'm nostalgic as well, but I just want to hear something he was working on post Invincible, and certainly post-2005.

As for the tours, I'd love to have Destiny or Triumph tour, something after Off The Wall. Not really sure which one because I love stuff from both albums. They need to just release a box set with a show from each era.

I still don't know why Motown/Universal hasn't released a DVD full of J5 performances just like the ones they did for Marvin, Smokey & The Miracles, The Temptations, and The Four Tops. That would be so cool and they could add rare interview clips and other stuff.

For me I would want the DVDs released on a monthly schedule starting in Feb through to June. Then in June on the anniversary of Michael's death release the album he was working on (and only music from that period).

Hopefully that would give producers the chance to finish tracks and give it the proper love and polish a release would deserve.

MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE CONCERT SCRAPPED

VIENNA (Reuters) - A Michael Jackson tribute concert, which was moved from Vienna to London after top acts dropped out, has been canceled after the event's organizer closed down, the company's liquidator said on Friday.

Organizers, led by Michael's brother, Jermaine, canceled the Vienna concert in September after struggling to get stars to perform on short notice.

A London concert was planned for summer, but that has been scrapped as well.
Martin Schneider, liquidator for the organizers, told Reuters: "The company cannot sign any new contracts and will certainly not plan any new events."

Event organizer World Awards Media GmbH decided to close on November 30, the company's liquidator said in an e-mailed statement. World Awards Media and its previous owner directed all queries to its liquidator.
A spokeswoman for Jermaine Jackson in Los Angeles was unavailable for comment.

Ticket sales for the Vienna tribute stagnated after billed acts like R&B stars Mary J. Blige and Chris Brown and veteran singer Natalie Cole started to back away from the concert, which would have taken place at a 17th century palace.
Organizers blamed Austrian media, saying they treated the line-up as "B-List" artists and sullied the memory of Jackson.

The 50-year-old singer died in June from an overdose of powerful medications. His 1982 "Thriller" is the highest-selling album of all time.

I have to say I am glad that it's not going ahead. As good intentioned as Jermaine is, he doesn't have the pull or clout to pull it off. The best idea would be to have AEG Live put together a show - have the professionals do it and handle the line up.

December 18, 2009 -- Captain EO is coming back to Disneyland! The official announcement of this news at the Disney Resort was given on the Disney Parks Blog today December 18. The blog does mention that it will be for a limited engagement.

If you attended the D23 conference for fans and guests of Disney earlier this year, you might have been in the swells of speculation about, if, and when Captain EO would be coming. It was, at that time, the will of the fans for Captain EO to return to Disneyland. Over the past few months, if you asked Cast Members, the answer was always the same, yes the show will return.

Rumored since the passing of Michael Jackson, this announcement may not be very surprising, but there will be no more guessing on when we can appreciate Captain EO. The Disneyland Resort currently is expecting Captain EO to open in February 2010.

Many millions will be coming to see Captain EO at Disneyland, from around Southern California and parts beyond. All of them can give Disneyland a big thumbs up for making this happen first in Disneyland in Anaheim.

Meet you in the Captain EO line Disney and Michael Jackson fans!

I've seen it plenty of times as kid from the numerous visits to Disneyland, but now since it's coming back and MJ passed, the line will be long...HOURS long...back then, the wait was no more than 15-20 minutes.

"Captain EO" going back to Disneyland is great and all, but just give me a Blu-Ray release for it. I'd rather not go to the park to see it like I thought I would when I read it might relaunch back during the summer. If this was last year or any year before this one, I'd be reserving tickets to go when it opens, like, tomorrow, lol. But not now.....
