Yeah all of that and the sightings and all of that bull can be included with that. I love Mike, but he has passed on. His spirit will be there when you play his music and listen to him sing, but please, fans of Mike, let some of the aspects surrounding this go. Don't get into the crazy and become it. But honor his passing and stay grounded, because we still ahve a life to live here and a mission to do as we all have to do.

Word. The MJ boards have gotten too depressing, lol

I agree with that. Max Jax just banned my dude Little Steven and I don't even know what he did! I ain't ever coming back to that site (sorry Marni). I may just ditch MJJC for good too. KOPD? I'm still a question mark but that may be avoided again. When I find my username/password for MJJVault, I'd be in that mothafucka. lol

Jackson's cause of death listed as "acute propofol intoxication"

Michael Jackson died of 'acute propofol intoxication,' coroner says
August 28, 2009 | 11:52 am

The Los Angeles County coroner's office officially ruled the death of Michael Jackson a homicide and said he died of "acute propofol intoxication."

According to a statement from the coroner: The "manner of death has been ruled homicide. Cause of death was established as acute propofol intoxication. Other conditions contributing to death: benzodiazepine. The drugs propofol and Lorazepam were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson’s death. Other drugs detected were midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine, and ephedrine. The final coroner’s report includes a complete toxicology report will that remain on security hold at the request of the Los Angeles police department and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office"

Homicide refers to a death at the hand of another person, but does not necessarily translate to criminal charges. In court papers, the Los Angeles Police Department has identified Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician at the time of his death, as the target of a manslaughter investigation.

Sources familiar with the multiagency investigation have stressed that a manslaughter prosecution is not inevitable, given Jackson’s history of drug use, health problems and other challenges in the case.

According to an affidavit unsealed in Houston last week, Murray told police that Jackson spent his last hours pleading for a dose of a powerful anesthetic.

Murray said he resisted -- fearful that the pop star had developed a dangerous addiction to propofol. Instead, Murray administered the sedatives Valium, lorazepam and midazolam -- five times over six hours. But none put Jackson to sleep and he continued to demand his "milk," the word the doctor said the pop star used for propofol.

Murray said he finally relented and at 10:40 a.m. added the drug to Jackson's intravenous drip, according to the records. That dose -- mixed with the cocktail of other sedatives in the pop star's system -- was enough to kill him, the coroner's office concluded in a preliminary toxicology report, according to the court records.

Authorities have sought records from at least five physicians who treated Jackson as well as pharmacies in Las Vegas and Beverly Hills, but Murray is the only doctor named in court documents as the target of the manslaughter investigation.

Jackson had specifically asked concert promoter AEG Live to hire Murray as his $150,000-a-month physician to travel with him to London, where he was scheduled to perform 50 concerts.

-- Richard Winton at the Los Angeles County coroner's office, Harriet Ryan and Andrew Blankstein

Dr.Murray relented so much then why was he giving Michael propofol for six weeks prior to Michaels death!

Unbelievable!

Lawyer for Jackson doc: Release full autopsy now

(AP) – 31 minutes ago

LOS ANGELES — The lawyer for Michael Jackson's doctor is criticizing authorities for withholding the full results of the singer's autopsy.

Edward Chernoff, who represents Dr. Conrad Murray, says he's at a loss as to why the Los Angeles County coroner's office only released a brief summary of the results Friday, including that Jackson's death was a homicide and the cause was the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative.

Chernoff says he needs to know precisely what levels of various drugs were detected and said the failure to release the report seemed like "gamesmanship."

Chernoff says his client was truthful with investigators and the general findings made public support statements the doctor gave investigators after Jackson's June 25 death.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Jackson's death was a homicide caused primarily by the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative, the coroner announced Friday in a highly anticipated ruling that increases the likelihood of criminal charges against the pop star's personal doctor.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office determined the cause of death was "acute propofol intoxication." Other sedatives contributed to the death, most notably lorazepam, sold under the brand name Ativan. Additional drugs detected in Jackson's system were midazolam, diazepam, lidocaine and ephedrine.

The coroner did not release Jackson's full autopsy report, citing an ongoing security hold at the request of Los Angeles authorities as they continue investigating the case.

The 50-year-old Jackson died June 25 at his rented Los Angeles mansion. Dr. Conrad Murray, the Las Vegas cardiologist who was the pop star's personal physician, told police he gave Jackson propofol that morning after a series of sedatives failed to help Jackson sleep.

Murray has not been identified as a suspect but is the target of what police term a manslaughter investigation.

Murray has been interviewed twice by police. According to court records, he told investigators that over about six hours he injected Jackson with two doses each of the sedatives lorazepam and midazolam. Finally, around 10:40 a.m., Murray said he succumbed to Jackson's demands and administered propofol, a drug Murray said he had given Jackson every night for six weeks.

Propofol, dubbed "milk of amnesia" among anesthesia professionals, is commonly used to render patients unconscious for surgery. It's only supposed to be administered by anesthesia professionals in medical settings and, because of its potency, requires the patient be closely monitored at all times. Using propofol strictly as a sleep agent violates medical guidelines.

Except for a brief video posted to YouTube, Murray has not spoken publicly since Jackson's death. In the video, he said: "I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail."

Murray's attorney, Edward Chernoff, has said his client never administered anything to Jackson that "should have" killed him.

The Los Angeles district attorney's office has been working with the Los Angeles Police Department but has not indicated whether charges will be brought. The coroner's determination of homicide makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed but does not guarantee it.

Over the past seven years, just a handful of doctors have been convicted of manslaughter, mostly involving their patients' use of painkillers. To win a conviction, prosecutors would have to show that Murray acted recklessly and with negligence.

To them his shit smelled like roses and it's kinda sickening. confused lol
