This is tragic news. I know she must be devastated right now....and just when she was getting on top in the business, something terrible like this happens.  She's going to need a lot of prayer and support at this time. I don't even know what I would do if that were me. I would be no good. So this was something personal, right? Im not trying to bring any negativity to this, but what type of neighborhood was this? I'm suprised Jennifer didnt move her family to some upscale area...not that this couldn't happen anywhere, im just saying... My hearts and prayers go out to JH.... | |

I said the same thing to my son a while ago. I know Jennifer bought a condo on the northside for over $500,000, and I didn't even know her mom still lived on the south side. (Englewood) Not a good neighborhood. They are trying to revitalize it in some parts, but it's dangerous. My son said maybe her mom didn't want to leave if she'd lived here all her life and knew her neighbors. But, if it was my mom and I was rich, she would have not been there. He had issues with Jennifer's sister so he decides to take out everyone at the house? Scary thing is, sometimes it doesn't matter how straight and narrow the you're path is. If someone close to you is dealing with a nut, you can get done too. I heard he was already jailed for attempted murder? That's a deal breaker. Balfour is currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections website. I just hope he returns the boy unharmed.
