Please, please...somebody kill that T-Pain-in-the-ass! He's onstage looking like a modern day minstrel! Rick Ross looks like this wrestler I used to see when I was young named Kamala.
Does he know he's a little big for the shirtless look? Somebody needs to tell him. Terrence Howard > Prince on guitar?  I guess we'll see.

I actually think that the BET Awards is STILL the best Awards Show on TV.
This year just happened to suck. It's defintely been better than the MTV awards!!! I thought that with the exception of Usher, the R&B performances were really good. I thought Alicia Keys was great Keyshia Cole was fantastic, and she has a great voice For the first time, Chris Brown made me say "Wow, that kid's talented". The Al Green Tribute was amazing!!! | I do not have any words to decsribe how horrible that show was. Alicia's girl group reunion performance, Quincy Jones, & Al Green was the only reason to stay tuned. It was definitely great to see Maxwell out looking & sounding very good. Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, & Maxwell did a wonderful job. I knew they had to at least have some real singers doing Al songs. I am glad they did not manage to mess that up like the rest of the show. Why did most of them even bother to wear or use any microphone attachments...since all they did was lip sync. | |

Al is a showman. He commanded the stage better than everybody up there tonight.
Chris Brown and Ciara had a nice routine. Jill Scott didn't sound so good singing an Al Green song. Anthony Hamilton was PERFECT for the tribute and its just good to see Maxwell out and about again. Its funny but you could tell the 25+ crowd in the audience just by looking at who knew the word to Al's songs. Busta, Kim Whitley, etc. | |

Al Green was the only saving grace for the show. He had everyone up singing (even Lil Wayne). I was so glad to see Maxwell. Man, he needs to hurry up and release an album.
