looks like Danja is indeed a real person.I found a picture of him:

Are you still working on Madonna's album? Actually Madonna is finished. Me and Tim did four or five [songs] together. He also did three more with a new producer, Hannon, out of Virginia. Then Pharrell did the rest. So it’s like a Virginia-produced album. I’m actually kind of proud of that. Even though me and Tim and Pharrell didn’t work together, just for us to completely conquer an artist such as Madonna ... I’m good. Either way, whether we got a single or [Pharrell] got a single, Virginia got a [Madonna] single. so if he's right, this is how the album will be... ***4 songs produced by Timbaland and Danja (with some songwriting assistance by Justin Timberlake) ***3 songs produced by Timbaland and Hannon ***5 songs produced by Pharrell That's 12 tracks.Looks like Timbaland is the main producer, after all, with 7 of his songs appearing on the album. The second single will be "Give It To Me",but it's not clear who produced this song. It's believed to be one of Pharrell's productions, but Rolling Stone's description mentions Danja, saying the track is similiar to his work on Britney's 'Blackout' album

4 mintues sound pop not urban at all. You need to be urban AC to really cross over, this is not their bid. not Fantasia or Keyshia Cole enough. however that wasnt the plan? You dont call Justin if you want to cultivate the american urban radio/retail, she wants his pop audience that buys his records.

I think it's pretty sad that she still needs 200 producers/writers/composers for making a new album after 25 years in the biz...
That tells me a lot... | |

That tells me a lot... from the looks of it, this is about the same number of producers/writers she's employed on most of her albums since 1994. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

I mean if she's really that talented and a good producer then it would be interesting to see her going on her own way to make her own music. But it will never happen cuz she's just an average performer with a great ego and a lot of marketing, publicity and talented people behind her.

Madonna is the ultimate "pop" artist.Anything she does,it will always be considered pop, just because of who she is.I don't think she wants to abandon that. Her album is most likely a pop/dance album with an R&B vibe and that's okay with me.I wouldn't want her to sound "totally R&B" anyway.

Why is it that Madonna can select credible dance music producers but is incapable when it comes to rap & R&B? Pharoch Monche, MF DOOM, the RZA, Ghostface Killa, Ceelo, Outkast ... why didn't she offer a great sum of money to these guys? I guess they're not 'pop' enough. But niether is Mirwais and she had hits with him. It's clear that she's trying to make a big, commerical album this time around.Let's face it,you can't get more "commercial" than Timbaland and Pharell.I admit,it woulda been interesting if she had decided to make a dark,non-commericial R&B album produced by lesser known producers. After several years of working with producers who weren't well-known (Mirwais,Stuart Price),perhaps she just wants to change course? Celebrate her 25th year in the music biz with a big,commercial,radio-friendly album? Nothing wrong with that.

Madonna is so over with. So desperate to get a hit in the USA that she'll dig to the bottom of the barrell. I'm buying Mariah's new disc, the one that's getting high critical acclaim.

Because Mariah is not desperate to get another US #1 with the same style she's always been doing, right? This is the woman who celebrated her 16th and 17th #1s with a cake. Calling Madonna desperate to get a US hit only proves that you don't like Pharrell etc, but you prefer Mariah's stuff by JD...

i've been mostly harsh on this record...without hearing anything besides that clip of "4 minutes" plus "candy shop," which truth be told isn't THAT bad...
maybe it'll be a good record. M usually makes a good album. hmmm...if only that douche Timberfuck weren't involved I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

A fan took a few pieces of the leaked snippet and tried to piece it together and make a "real song" out of it The second, slower part sounds like it's from a remix. The first part might also be a remix, too. Fans are getting impatient.Madonna needs to drop this single NOW.I'm sick of hearing these fan-made "versions" of the single, lol.

Timbaland is the "bottom of the barrel"? I guess that's why everybody wants to work with him, lol. I'm buying Mariah's new disc, the one that's getting high critical acclaim.
I like Mariah, but come on....she basically makes the same album again and again.Several of her albums are interchangeable...you can't really tell one album from the other.

Funny how Mariah and other female singers routinely work with all of these "hot" producers but when Madonna does it,she's "desperate"...."looking for a hit".Mariah can't seem to make an album without a bunch of popular rappers all over it,but no...she's not desperate at all
