Random thoughts after spending a week in MLPS and being physically in Paisley-and it is PURELY my intuition and thoughts so please don't hammer me on the need for hard factual truth. I am just putting it out there because questions lead to answers:

- He must have been in chronic pain to need an elevator for that stairwell. It was very short-shorter than the one in my home. I don't know if he was using it regularly but I was just surprised at how small the stair case actually is.

-The man over Graceland Holdings reported they had laid new carpet-an exact replica-over the old because the quality of the old could not withstand the traffic. They also had to purchase several new HVAC units for the building. As we know, "the egg" is not in good physical shape-paint peeling, etc. and several have mentioned the condition of the interior furniture. None of these things would be be surprising in my home, but Prince was a perfectionist and always immaculate in his appearance, etc. I was surprised at the reports of what had to be done to repair the building before they could open. This isn't Prince. Something over the past couple of years had him preoccupied.

-the Prince family (including NPG members, bandmates, collaborators, Paisley employees) are tight. Whatever went down, they will take it to their graves. That makes me really wonder why Judith spoke out and she wasn't shunned, actually she is as tight in the circle as anyone. Wondering if everyone agreed that she should be the one to put the story about what happened on the plane "out there" and if so, why?

-I can't really explain it so it's purely speculation, but I don't think those pills came from the Chanhassen or MLPS area.

-After being around the family and friends for several days and being at the concert,I am convinced they all know exactly what happened.

-My gut tells me its the local doctor who has disappeared that is responsible for procuring the tainted pills. I just can't figure out why he wouldn't have just written a script unless Prince was insistant that his name not be on the script and the doctor was unwilling to write it to someone else.

-I would like to know whose name was on the other perscription bottle found. The living quarters are not that large-not at all what I expected-so I am thinking that bottle was in his room or close by-not in one of the guest rooms. That person may also very well be the one who has been funneling medication to him for a long time.

-We will never know what really happened. The community will protect him and as little information as possible will be released.

-I am sad and mad as hell. This didn't have to happen. It was so avoidable. Someone, maybe several, were just freaking careless with his health and safety. My heart is broken at the thought of him at Paisley, right there off the freaking main road for heaven's sake, suffering and being alone in that building. That was the worst part of the tour for me-now I have a visual to the tape that has been playing out in my mind sad

[Edited 10/17/16 17:27pm]

thank you for your honest observations. i agree with your assessments re the family. i still think tyka's statements are WTF but i can't pinpoint what is off. i also agree that they(prn ppl) have known for awhile or at least they are at peace with the findings otherwise they would have been kicking heads in wanting anwsers. and her emphasing that the fans need closure, not the family. confused it's all for us? is she just stockpiling goodwill or what?

++

i also now wonder if that was the breach/weirdness with sheila. the last comments SE made were "the family knows". and then she was no longer involved with the official tribute. maybe she is/was unwilling to tow the party line.

===

the thing with JH is starting to make me queasy. still can't pinpoint why. it's just not scanning.

Disagree. In fact, he probably believed the P&M tour would save him. It was a much needed downsizing for someone in chronic pain but with a love for musisc and performing that went way beyond the pain. You could see a downsizing of sorts in the 2014 concerts. The laid back attitude, the loose and carefree clothing, kinda new agey (I believe his spirituality took him way beyond JW fasith, but that's another story), no heels and a more relaxed dancing, letting the band members shine more, spending a big part on the synth with samples and an overall lay out of his most famous hits (whilst constantly reminding everyone that he had plently of those so they could be there all night), the comments about his fams going to PP and visiting his house. He was already planning a downsizing or an early retirement (from whatever reason).
Also, on the stage prince was where got all the attention and love he surely needed. I believe he was lonely and depressed. He lived as a recluse, hated media attention, two failed marriages and no descendants, etc. He lived very much inside his head, in his own world.

i like the way u think here. the loose clothes and weird looking adams apple is what made me think of cancer- many i know that are going thru chemo can't stand to be touched bcos overly sensitive skin reactions. maybe not.

==

the highlighted part: he had become his father, minus children. and the constant "mingling" with strangers but no truly intimate connections(even if he did have lovers in the last decade)..... a heart as tender as prince's could not have withstood so much personal pain, imo. i am reminded of something jill jones said about his ability to manifest things; he always said that music was his everything and all he needed. sadly he manifested his life in such away that it WAS ALL he had in the end.

I haven't made my way through the whole thread yet but god damn.

We've actually reached the point where people here honestly believe Prince faked his own death? That he "knew about 9/11" (whatever that means)? Chemtrails? Anti vaxers? Seriously? Have you lost your motherfucking minds? Several of you folks need to really get a grip on reality. I had just about finished perusing the "whacky conspiracy theories" thread and I guess some of you were so seriously off your collective rockers that you even managed to get THAT thread closed before I could catch up; a thread designed SPECIFICALLY for far out crazy people and off the rails ideas.

Which was a shame in its own way because I found it absolutely hilarious and I barely had time to get started reading it (I live in St. Augustine and got clobbered by Matthew) but in a larger, more general sense it's probably a good idea that the mods said "enough" and subtly encouraged you lunatics to go outside and get a breath of fresh air. Unless you're afriad of the "chemtrails". Jesus Christ.

I can't believe some of the insane horseshit I've been reading in these threads. I honestly can't. It's funny sometimes but very depressing at others. As an empathatic person myself, I feel bad for people that subscribe to this whacked out stupidity because it must be positively exhausting for someone who views the world through that sort of lens to even get out of bed in the morning, brush their teeth and tie their god damned shoes. Probably secretly afraid of flouride or something. I honestly worry about what sort of world my 5 year old son is going to face knowing that there's actually members of society who not only entertain this level of horseshittery and give it the time of day but who actually fucking BELIEVE IT.

And before anyone tells me to "just leave", fuck off. Someone has to ground these threads in something reseambling reality and sanity and my thoughts are as valid as anyones. UNless we just want to reduce the org to a bunch of conspiracy minded paranoid internet detectives circle jerking each other as they look for "suspicous" things and "crack the case".

p.s. We landed on the moon.

wave Hi Herb4. First, let me tell you that I like your posts.

Second, I just came back today to try and catch up a little. I live on the beach in Palm Coast. Saw that you've been dealing with the same & Hurricane Matthew. Been hard to have a free moment since that happened. My house got flooded with 3 feet of water. We evac'd on Oct. 5th to a hotel in Destin. Got elec back on the 12th. Got back in the house 13th. We've been dragging furniture, etc. to the curb ever since. Lost 2 cars left @ our house. Lost a living area downstairs, laundry room, and our big garage was filled. Oddly, no wind damage. We love St. Aug and Flagler Beach. What an awful mess. Every day is more cleaning, dragging stuff out to toss, and the stinky brown poop water. Ugh. sigh

I just noticed that in Graffiti Bridge, one of George Clinton's bandmembers is credited as Chris "Doctor D" Worthy.

I can't find any other info about this guy or any association with P-Funk.

Is it at all possible that Prince's alleged dealer has been hiding in plain sight this whole time?

Check the movie credits for yourself.

-/ So far what we are hearing is no long term use of Fentenyl or Percocet. If you read about the side effects of Fentanyl there is no way he would have lived this long and been productive. Also read George Clinton's bio he talks a lot about Prince's work ethic and how he was as clean he was. He admired him for it and wished he was able to work back then without drugs.

I think most of us here can trace a decline in Prince's appearance to about two years ago (2014). But it was in November 2015, when I saw him on the awards show, that I thought he looked genuinely ill, and why was he carrying that guitar as a prop? Photographs from New Year's and Australia show additional changes - thinner, paler, less vibrant. Maybe he was using heavily only the last six months of his life. I agree that Fentanyl would have laid him low immediately, and that this might have been a one-time-only (unknown) use.

Exactly, you do not see a decline in his appearance until 2014. He was seeing Dr. S for withdrawals from pain meds and this has never been kept a secret from the beginning of the investigation but prior to 2014 Prince looked fine and never had a down time in his schedule. Something was going on with health from 2014 on and it may have been his dealing with the pain meds in trying to get off of them or other issues but the whole idea of him being a dope head for 30 plus years is ridiculous.

I have a few alcoholics in my family and I can tell you after a few years of heavy drinking they could not even work, drive, or interact with people anymore. There personalities totally changed because of alcohol. How would Prince have been able to work and get around for 30 plus years high as hell and have had it affect his work output or mood?

We are six months in and we have not heard one word from anyone that worked for him that saw him use drugs or act in a high manner wheatear it be high strung or lethargic. Estates can't sue for defamation so why are people not talking.

I had my theories that he was ill long before Tyka's interview and I still stick with it.

I agree with you in the sense that something was going on after 2014, either an illness or a physical deterioration because of pain med addiction.

Well I don't know how ethical it is for a doctor to treat a patient for withdrawal of pain meds who has no background in addiction or pain management. He could be out of a job for that reason alone.

On one website he was listed has having a background in critical care.

Unless they can prove that Prince got Fentanyl from Schulenburg, or that he did something else inappropriate, I don't see why he should be on leave for this length of time. As it stands now, it appears that Prince got the Fentanyl laced pill off the street.

I just read on the "Cremation" thread (Cryingdoves post) something very strange. I did not know this but, Cameron Strang, who is CEO & Chairman of Warner Bros., just so happens to be on the Board of Directors at "Neptune Society" (cremation services), which is the company who cremated Prince. eek

Wow. I just googled Cameron Strang and found this interesting article especially the bit that says:-

"Through midyear 2016, Strang has increased that share to 8.1 percent, good for third place and even outpacing its sister label Atlantic, although the bump is due in part to the posthumous sales of David Bowie, whose catalog is controlled by WBR, and especially Prince, whose greatest-hits album rocketed to the top of the Billboard 200 following his death. (All totals include sales from Warner Music Nashville, run autonomously by its chairman/CEO, John Esposito.) "Perversely, Prince and Bowie dying is the best thing that could've happened to the current Warner Brothers regime," says a source close to the situation.

Full article: http://www.billboard.com/...ds-profile

I still think P had a terminal illness and was self-medicating for the pain, but with all the conspirancy theories flying around, it does make you wonder, especially as the security system/cameras weren't working that day.

.

Whoa! Good article you found there. It does seem very shady, indeed.

.

Ironic that Bowie was on the same record label (WB) as Prince, and he passed away recently.

.

That statement though....."Prince and Bowie dying is the best thing that could have happened to WB".....Wow, just wow!! eek

.

I guess they are all gonna cash-in now.

.

I also read an article on Billboard (published on April 28th)......an interview with Cameron Strang, states: "Apart from the beneficiaries, the entity with the most at stake in these affairs is Warner Music Group (WMG), which released the artist's music for the first 18 years of his career -- and also released two Prince albums in 2014 -- and could control much of his legendary vast archive of unreleased material, which is said to include hundreds if not more than 1,000 songs."

.

And...."WMG received a long-term licensing and distribution deal -- possibly for the life of the copyright, i.e., 75 years after the author's death. For its part, WMG gave Prince a huge bump in royalties for his records -- Billboard estimates that the artist received a blended rate of 37 percent across all formats and territories."

.

"His attorney at the time of his death was Rhonda Trotter from the Los Angeles law firm Kaye Scholer, who had executed the 2014 Warner Bros. deal along with former Barack Obama insider Van Jones. His longest standing, although sporadic, recent associate was entertainment lawyer L. Londell McMillan, who reportedly traveled to Minneapolis after Prince's death to help handle the chaos around the estate. (Neither Trotter nor McMillan would comment for this story.)"

.

Cameron Strang's base salary: $2.25 million eek

I just read on the "Cremation" thread (Cryingdoves post) something very strange. I did not know this but, Cameron Strang, who is CEO & Chairman of Warner Bros., just so happens to be on the Board of Directors at "Neptune Society" (cremation services), which is the company who cremated Prince. eek

.

....and, twilight zone music plays eek

Now THAT is... omg
.

Also, do we know much about this person? 'His attorney at the time of his death was Rhonda Trotter from the Los Angeles law firm Kaye Scholer'.

.
On the scene for 2-ish years...Given that she negotiated a deal which might have been cause for celebration ('jubilation') in legal circles (even if not, necessarily, one-such for Prince) could she be the one Apollonia mentioned?

Regarding attorney Rhonda Trotter (Kaye Scholer). It could very well be who Apollonia was referring to. I need to look into this further.

wow, you all are doing a good job picking up threads that were quietly noted (very quietly) throughout obscure media sources. i would'nt be surprised if there is somebody from law enforcement reading and picking up some leads on the other hand if there is something sinister, those parties could also be reading too.

Need me some fuzzy love....and yes, I wear clear heels

Ugh. sigh

Thanks. Same here. My street got fucked up (A1A and Dondanville Road - St. Augustine). My house is ok though but my neighbor's not so much. Sorry about yours. I had JUST moved my Mom down here two days prior and then started a new job. So much work to do.

Probably chemtrails created that storm *sarcasm*

EDIT: Also, now that we're into hard hitting evidence like Prince's shoes and the cast of Grafitti Bridge, I can tell you that Prince was wearing those flip flop sandal thingies since the One Nite Alone tour. I was second row and saw them myself.
