I'm as optimistic as anyone here I don't need any imaginary friends to live a beautiful meaningful life you can believe whatever you would like to I'm a very peaceful person and believe in humanity and we all need to strive for the greater good of all of us as far as anylitcal thinking goes why does everyone purposely stop thinking critically when it comes to matters of faith and also I know as much as I want to know about Prince despite what you may think sorry your so butt hurt but reality is tough to take sometimes

I'm not religious either, but it certainly helps people. Whether it be Prozac or positive thinking, whatever works for you is cool. I know a lot of far smart and far more prosperous people who are religious so maybe I'M the one who's wrong about religion. . In any case, I am of the belief that becoming a JW saved his life. And you can see it in his amazing reemergence in the 2000's looking fantastic and and all the amazing performances he is now known for by a great majority of people. . His RRHOF performance, his Super Bowl performance, Coachella, The Almas performance, his amazing tours, 21 nights. The jazz festival performances, on and on. . I honestly think there was something troubling him in the 90's, and he looked and sounded way off. Then all off a sudden, just as how sudden he had fallen in the 90's, he was his badass self all over again. . If Graham was a bad influence, well we would all be lucky to get this type of bad influence. Prince's final decade and a half here on earth, he more than made up a lot of ground and proved to everyone once again that tis nobody funkier. Left us wanting more and appreciating him more. He left us without any doubt in anyone's mind he was the baddest of them all. . I truly doubt that outcome would have happened if he hadn't turned to someone for help. And lucky for us it was Larry Graham. [Edited 10/7/16 12:44pm]

i dont know how you credit Larry Graham for those incredible performances and where was larry when he needed him most?

Well they weren't chained together. All one can do is try and help.
But this I'm only speculating of course about all this. We'll all know soon enough what transpired, if he had an illness or if it was something else.

But I still see a dramatic reemergence to greatness right after he turned to Larry for help. I mean it's all well documented on HD video. We've all seen the clips. He was a force of badass nature all over again.
Whether it was because of becoming a JW or not it was an obvious and dramatic return to form. As dramatic and obvious as his fall in the 90's.

I know there has always been conspiracy's about famous folks faking their death.

But is something like that really possible to do.

Is it just a case of greasing all the right people to go along with the charade.

Seemd like it would have to be pretty epic thing to try and pull off... surely would take major planning and arranging.

I suppose it might be possible, who knows.

Prince faking his own death would be very logistically difficult and not to mention highly risky.

If he got caught he would go to jail and have his reputation ruined.

The only way he could successfully fake his death was if he had help from the authorities.

One possible scenario is that the plane incident was a botched assassination attempt and he went to the Feds for protection.

Another scenario is that there are going to be some big arrests made of people involved with the pharmaceutical industry. Prince could be in witness protection right now.

Yes cuz there are still an ongoing investigation so something ain't right here, could also explain why people around Prince are so quiet about what really happened. The sad thing is that I don't think we will ever get to know the truth.

I agree with you. There are many things not right about any of it. I hope someday we will know the

truth. Surely they didn't plan the "clustermess" it has become........

I don't expect the truth to come out. The people in charge of Prince's 'posthumous' career are going to want to keep the mystery alive. Unless of course the ongoing investigation ends in some arrests being made.

I was researching today and found a MN news site. I have never really looked much in that area past

the ST. The report was dated 10/3/2016. As I read the report, it becomes evident to me that they

can't make up their minds what they "know" or have been told by "unofficially official sources".

There are 2 questions that the DEA are looking to answer:

1) whether Dr.'s illegally prescribed opiods meant for P ( P had no scripts for 12mos. in MN)

2) whether the fentanyl that killed P came from a black market source ( they had already said that the pills found at PP were illicit)

#1 could be possibly someone was seeing a Dr. and getting scripts in their name, in turn giving them to P ?

Am I just mistaken or have they not known this since August??

that website is just reprinting an Associated Press story (many news outlets subscribe to the AP news service so you'll see the same AP stories all over the place). And yes, this story more or less just repeats what's been in the press for a while now.

Yes they have zenarose - even earlier than that in all probability. They knew from day 1 that there was a script in someone else's name and probably within a few days that there were illicit pills. The press just keeps reposting the info repeatedly as if it were "new" news.

I don't know if this has ever been brought up in these death threads, but has anyone considered that the reason we keep getting vague statements regarding Prince's death may be due to Prince taking out a life insurance policy & his camp wanting to ensure the insurance company pays out. Any additional info may give the company enough cause to contest dispersing the funds (as they can argue Prince committed suicide) even if his manner of death really was accidental.

Does anyone know if life insurance companies require you to provide them with a full autopsy report or if the summarized version suffices?

See below this is the reason we are getting vague statements.

There is a crazy man named Rodney Dixion who claims he has power of attorney over all of Prince’s music. Now he has crazy ass documents in his claim most of which is total nonsense however he has pulled some information from the copyright office that explains how Prince made sure his music would not be affected by the Probate process. Please see the Estate 4 topic to see all of the great people who pulled this together.

See the link below. See Exhibit A, B, and E

http://www.mncourts.gov/m...randum.pdf

Exhibit A is an 'exclusive songwriter agreement' dated April 2014 in which Prince assigns all copyright to NPG Music ( Prince's own company). As this is around the time Prince announced getting his masters back from WB , this must have been part of the business side of getting this all set up.

Exhibit B is a copyright form (public document) registering all 965 songs to NPG music. Dated Feb 4 2016. so recent! As 965 sounds about right in terms of the total number of songs Prince had registered, this seems to be about him changing the registration from his own name to NPG as the copyright owner, I guess aligning it all to the new agreement with NPG.

Exhibit E is a public document recording that NPG Music Publishing is being set up as an LLC in California, dated march 2014.

Phaedrea Ellis Lamkins is listed as the manager of NPG music publishing, and we know she was credited with working with Prince to help him regain ownership of his masters.

It would appear that the LLC owns the songs and I would bet money that Prince’s siblings are the shareholders. This would mean that the songs will not be affected by whatever happens to the estate. I believe he saw the foolishness with his Dad’s estate and found a why to get around the courts and protect his music.

Let’s discuss and think about how he did all this two years ago right around the time he told his sister he was done.

Sinnick's question is an interesting one, and one which I have copied / pasted over to the Estate thread...There was an unidentified 'work product' cited by P's previous (divorce) lawyers as relevant to Bremer and the estate heirs - I wonder if a life insurance policy of some sort might be that work product..?

.

I've no idea how much detail an insurance company would require before paying out - perhaps there is an expert on that thread who can advise..?

Here's another 'curious' thought...

.

Given that Prince referred to himself as 'the light' and other 'messianic' terms, and that he tended to think in complex and symbolic ways...Do you think it's possible he WANTED to have his death termed an accidental overdose on illicit pain-killing drugs, in order to draw more attention to the issue and instigate a change in attitude / law?

.

Do you think he might have used his own very unfortunate circumstances to deliberately martyr himself for the cause???

.

OK, I'm braced for coming under fire!

I don't see why he'd pick that cause in particular. I feel like if he was going to matyr himself for something, he'd be much more dramatic about it, the Christ imagery would be more apparent, and the cause would be more relevant to Prince's beliefs and character that we know of.

However, this post did make me think of something interestingly outlandish; what if Prince is/was actually an angel (like, one with a name) that was sent down to complete a mission here on earth. Not really a human. He seemed to have some kind of connection to the spiritual realm that the rest of us don't and his calm temperament doesn't seem to be all that common in humans. Aren't angels supposed to have that calm disposition and not have emotions like the rest of us? Prince often had that blank facial expression - is that not how an angel would be? He seems to have done many things what aren't necessarily godly, so thats the weak point.

Maybe because he'd had pain / pain medication issues for a long time - but, in life, had always felt too ashamed to speak out? However, with his demise imminent, he saw it as a good opportunity to say his piece, knowing that it wouldn't matter to him any more?

Actually the JWs are literalists just like the roman catholics, but believing in a different version of the bible.

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days...

There are 30 thousand different versions of Christianity that's a fact look it up and Catholicism is right up there with there weirdness the Bible is the big bad book of multiple choice .. it's what ever you want it to be and in fact JW is unique in its beliefs because they change on the fly like things that were part of their dogma years ago has changed now... it's a very us versus them religion like anyone who is not of their belief is part of the devils plan.... strange

Does anyone wonder why Prince was cremated so soon? It's against the law in Minnesota for a cremation to take place while there is a criminal investigation going on, yet Prince was cremated immediately after the autopsy was completed. I know this has been discussed before, but if anyone has any thoughts they would like to share, I'm listening.

Right. They knew on 4/21 that they were working on a search warrant to go back at a later time. They

just happened to cremate BEFORE they turned it into a criminal investigation!!! Accidentally on

purpose.........see how that works????
