I just want to throw this out there...When my older brother was 25 and in great health, etc. he said a similar thing to me. He told me that he'd traveled, partied, and had a great life, and did all he wanted to do. I told him to quit it and he said he wouldn't be "here" much longer.

.

He told me what he wanted for his funeral, etc. We were close, so I knew he wasn't ill or suicidal and I told him to quit talking like that, and I put it out of my mind and went on with my life. I started a family and had him as Godfather of my daughter. I was pretty broke, but remember his last Christmas giving him more gifts than normal, I don't know why, perhaps subconsciously I also "knew". Anyway, I was happy that he loved a red sweater I gave him.

.

A year and a half after he spoke of his death, he was killed in a car accident. In my grief I couldn't remember what he said he wanted, and was surprised that he had also told my Dad. So at least he got the funeral he wanted, and I put him in that red sweater I gave him (one of his requests was that since he was "blue jean and sweater guy" that he didn't want to be buried in a suit. Even though he wanted a closed casket. While going through his totalled car, I had another surprise; he had purchased a insurance policy that was enough to pay for his funeral and then some, and had the paperwork in his glove compartment.

.

I don't know Tyka, but I never got over the fact that I had almost 18 months to question, protect, or whatever I could have done and didn't. It's been years and years now. I'll never get over it. Regrets are a bitch.

.

Sorry for venting!

thank you for sharing. i understand what ur saying and can see a difference in ur story and tyka in that car crashes can happen anytime, anywhere to anyone. they are somewhat random. the way prince died was very specific in many ways. i have no doubt that had he died in a plane crashe on the 14th or in a car accident on the 21st( with or without the seizures and drugs talk) no one would be doubting or wondering or questioning.

///

another thing about tyka/et interview. right after she says "it wasn't shocking" she brushes her cheek just under her eye. that suggests to me that she is not being truthful. either it DID shock her and she was surprised (and she brushed her own cheek to soothe herself- i twist my hair)or she's making this up. her tone is very matter of fact which comes from being a midwesterner. most if us are straight talkers. jmo

I agree. Her face, eye, and body movement shows deception (from an interview/interrogation stand point).

Folks have been talking a lot about the statement that Tyka made. It seems that has sparked conversations of terminal illness. I can't grasp that and here is the reason why: I lost my Mother 2 years ago to COPD. She was under Hospice care. The stages of the final days were explained to us and as I have said before, my sister is an RN and we cared for our Mother during that time. Part of the process is the body shutting down as it prepares for death and it progresses at it's own pace. There are no life sustaining measures taken. The body doesn't need food or water. The goal is to keep the person comfortable as they go through the process. I do not mean to sound cold but that is the way it is. And I say that to say this, If P was indeed in the end stage, he would not have been looking to a Dr. for life sustaining fluids or treatment, because he would know that the end was near. Instead, (from media) he was seeing a Dr. and having tests done because he was ill. To me, that excludes the terminal illness story as it appears that P was ill and just wanted to get better. I apologize in advance if I offend anyone by sharing this, it is not my intention.

Regrets are a bitch. I know exactly what you are saying. I've lost a couple loved ones in the past few years

EBONY: You’ve never had a producer. What made you choose Joshua Welton for Hit N Run: Phase One?

Prince: His faith in God really struck a nerve. And you know how you can just feel that something’s gonna work and it feels right, it’s a good fit? I knew the band was going to work, I knew the relationship with him was gonna work. I check people out now to see how faith-based they are and how real they are about it. That goes a long way, I gotta tell you. Because I can trust them. I can give him the key and don’t have to worry.

This is from an interview in Ebony Magazine 2015.

It appears P trusted someone else and not just KJ with "the keys".

That article is a great find. Interesting that those close to him on that tour saw nothing notably wrong with P (with the exception of Hearing Vanity passed)
According to this something happened from the plane incident.
What was said here before about P possibly faking death on the plane due to him knowing someone on that plane was trying to harm him seems to fit.

This is an article RE: concerts in Australia in February 2016.

“We knew he was having some hip pains,” says Dainty. “But that didn’t stop him doing two shows a night.”

So it was known, at least amongst the people that dealt/had to deal with Prince, that hip issues were a problem. However Hede saw no visible hip ailment. He must have taken some strong stuff if he was "jumping around onstage and literally dancing on the piano".

Also, a Portuguese promoter commenedt right after Prince's death that he was booking some shows in Lisbon for the Piano & a Microphone tour. It was scheduled for summer 2016 and there was supposed to be two shows a night.

Why was he doing two shows a night? Money? Because the show was so low key he could endure longer than a typical show of his? The man was known for his neverending energy.

Who do you think, other than Warner Bros., would have killed him? Anybody close to him - within his circle?

I read an article from July in Billboard about a the new head exec at Warner's Cameron Strang, who was hired in 2012. Prince tweets in February '16 how new person at Warner's does not want to pay him properly for vinyl reissues. Prince stated it's time to picket and write your( us fans) petitions to Warner Bros. Those tweets have somehow been removed but screenshots still exist. I remember reading those tweets before they were deleted. Anyway, the article states Warners label was not doing any good business for a while and thier profits really low! The vinyl reissues they refused to pay Prince properly for were I think for Purple Rain. Isn't it funny that they are now doing those reissues now Prince is dead ?

Look on page 7 or 8 of this thread. I posted them a week or so ago.

[Edited 10/14/16 16:37pm]

I have another name of someone new at Warner's. Jon Platt started in 2012. He worked with EMI before

There was never an Ambulance at PP on the 21st. The dispatcher canceled it because Prince was gone and they were unsuccessful at reviving him. They were too late. cry

.

Nope. No pictures of the Coroner being there either to remove Prince's body from PP. You would think that someone would have pictures, but nothing has surfaced. Makes you wonder.

.

There were "medical personnel" present at the scene. An accredited individual had to "pronounce" Prince. See the following article: http://q13fox.com/2016/04...ergencies/ ....which includes the following text: "On 4/21/2016 at about 0943 hours, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a medical call at Paisley Park 7810 Audubon Dr., Chanhassen, MN. Sheriff’s deputies and emergency personnel from Chanhassen Fire and Ridgeview Ambulance arrived at or about 0948 and found an unresponsive adult male in the elevator. They tried to provide lifesaving CPR, but were unable to revive the victim. He was pronounced deceased at 1007 hours. He was identified as Prince Rogers Nelson (57) of Chanhassen.” Who's to say one of the emergency personnel's vehicle wasn't simply utilized to remove his body? Maybe a thoughtful decision was made, to specifically avoid mass hysteria that might ensue should a Coroner vehicle arrive. Or, maybe it was removed much later that day.....even late evening. I don't think there is a specific law in MN that states a Coroner must remove a body. Found this tidbit... Subd. 8.Investigation procedure; coroner or medical examiner in charge of body. Upon notification of the death of any person as defined in this section, the coroner or medical examiner staff or their designee may proceed to the body, take charge of it, and arrange for transfer of it, when appropriate. .....on this site: https://www.revisor.mn.go...?id=390.11 Perhaps Sheriff Jim Olson was appointed as the designee? I just don't think there are mysteries that can't be explained by taking the time to do some thoughtful research. That's just my opinion, of course.

.

.

NotACleverName: Yes, I am familar with that information however; if you read the 911 Call transcripts the dispatcher canceled Ambulance going to Paisley Park.

.

The article states "emergency personnel", so it's confusing as to whether there was an actual "Ambulance" vehicle on the scene.

.

I'm not sure who/how his body was removed, but I know the laws in MN are different than other states.

Hi Zena: I'm so sorry about your Mom. I have a similar story. I also lost my Mom (2-1/2 years now), and she was suffering with COPD/emphesema for a few years. She had a bad fall and broke her hip, had surgery, then things went downhill very fast. I almost started to cry when I read your Mom had COPD too! cry.. hug

I agree with what you are saying. I don't believe Prince had any type of "terminal" illness, because he was making plans for the future. He purchased a brand new piano and guitar. I just don't believe he was planning on leaving us.

yep. I had to bring that subject back up after reading that article. I took screenshots of you screenshots. After meeting Prince's neighbors yesterday, I feel like nobody cares what happened to Prince but us fans. I don't know if you read my thread about that but it's in fan gatherings. They didn't know anything about Prince's problems with Warners. They only cared about keeping fans out of the neighborhood. [Edited 10/14/16 16:46pm]

.

The sad fact is that some people are just indifferent. They don't care one way or another. Some people only care about Prince's music and that's it -- they don't want to hear about the details of his death or his personal life, and that is okay. I know Prince was a private man, but he is gone, and when someone dies suddenly and around suspicious circumstances, the public has a right to know the truth.

.

Another sad fact is that Prince's family and mostly siblings he barley knew or were even close to, will inherit millions of dollars, and their grandchildren will inherit his millions and so on and so on.....
