Absolutely spot on, I was at a few of the 02 shows and was at the Birmingham show and I was one of those losing it during the set, couldn't have put it any more perfectly GENIUS.

Sure, so he has to repeat that 2007 feat each tour since 2007 into obilivion?

He's just filling time so the band can go to the loo.

He's not playing an actual instrument most of the time.

Is that original?

Refreshing?

Innovative?

It is quite contrasting for a man that we call genius every now and then.

No, when it comes to his live shows P is in the period where Miles Davis retired after recording Agartha and Pangea in the 70's.

Miles returned with a fresh take on hist material.

Will P do the same?

Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I think some people fail to recognise the influence that Prince had on the electronic and Detroit House scenes. Ever heard of Juan Atkins (Model 500)? He, and many other 80's electronic pioneers cite Prince as one of their main influences.

THIS NEEDS ITS OWN THREAD. This is a jewel!

Agreed! Prince and his use of drum machines and synths in a kickass funky way was a huge influence on these early house and techno pioneers.

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...
