Prince is a better song writer and imo more talented 4 mastering all those intsruments and music styles...also his music style in the 80's truly is alien and therfore is "art" pouring on your ears liek paint on a canvas.....however MJ is a better dancer and is best vocally and can hold high notes like an angel..superbly may i add!........Prince more or less screeches or speeds his vocals up (sorry its true).....MJ is also a better dancer...and was more polished and commercially likable.....he played it safe and made teh music people want 2 hear...as P made music "He" wants 2 hear......also MJ had the greatest music videos ever!....they were visually stunning and like mini-movies...which helped him promote his albums greatly!...prince was a tight ass and all his videos r shit........but 4 the "Music" that cums out my stereo P wins!!

Wouldn't it be more interesting to discuss artists whose relevance in a concrete decade can compare to that of Prince in the 80's? The Beatles or The Kinks in the 60's, Bowie and Stevie in the 70's? Why all this endless debate about Prince and Michael? I love Michael's music, but to me it's obvious that he was in a different league to Prince.

it was always bcuz of mj so called fans, they force us to believe wat mj told them, if there's any one can't agree with them, they starts attack.. kinda funny how they become enemy with everyone under the name of justice, n raciest..it's scary..

i think it would be more reasonable compare PRINCE to MOZART or the BEATLES!(true artists)

Prince is a relatively common name amongst African Americans, or it was, it can't compete with all these niqua and eisha names now. Its in the Taraborelli and Jermaine book that Prince Scruse was Katherines father and the name Scruse probably was a change from "Screws" as the name was a bit too crude in its outlook.

I am inclined to believe it. MJ never wanted to be like Prince, he looked down on Prince (as he couldn't understand all the sex in his music and his snarly attitude).

One reason is the music itself... and, haha Prince is more sexy on a stage.

One of the reasons should be his tours and how they evolved with each album to creative peaks never seen since. Even he couldn't top himself after LoveSexy and completely nose dived with the nude tour.
