I rarely watch tv at all on a weekday morning and I just happened to flip on The View. My mom DVR's it so I'm familiar enough with the show from visiting her. Imagine my surprise when Prince pops out of nowhere. It's crazy because I might have had that show on at my place 1 or 2 other times... ever. My point here is the chance (destiny?) of this happening, not that I wouldn't watch the show.

As for his visit, Sherri went a bit overboard, Elizabeth was starstruck, Joy played it too cool, and Whoopi (who already knew he was coming) and Barbara behaved appropriately casual. Prince did a pretty good job greeting the ladies, speaking, and answering the questions-- everything up until his attempt to exit.

Stop picking on folks... not all women black/white whatever behave in any one way... but yeah, most of us are fools for good looking rich men. Don't act as if you don't already know.

Interesting to bring up 'sister'. do you even understand the song? It is about a relationship that 'prince' was confused and conflicted about at the hands of a predatory abusive adult that should have known better. One of the worst parts of sexual abuse is the victim may very well enjoy elements of it but still want out of it but feel powerless to do so. Those conflicts bring shame and guilt. I think Prince expresses the dichotomy very well. This is even expressed in the song itself. It the songs construction, from the bouncy upbeat music/tempo to the both acceptance of and rejection of the relationship. Two things both happening both in conflict... but in the end it is about a person that was a victim and in part blames himself.
