The show's broadcast live, so they have to keep track of how long guests are on, and they usually know how the whole hour is going to play out. So maybe there was some producer telling them Prince needed to go and she threw that comment out, but you can tell he was amused.

They've had all sorts of people on the show, but when you meet someone from your teen years that made an impact on you, the fanboy (or fangirl) is going to come out. Just think about anyone you grew up liking, and it doesn't matter how successful you are or how many famous people you've met, when you meet a childhood hero or crush, it's a big deal.

I thought going on The View was a good way of getting the word out about the shows.

my idol growing up was jonathan davis from korn. when i met him 3 yrs ago i didn't go all crazy fangirl...well not until afterwards when i was in the car leaving..OMFG HE TOUCHED ME. it was like he was my BFF

I have hate for a lot of the current pop landscape beyond just their music, but Justin Bieber doesn't get any of that (yet). I've seen him enough outside of what he "does" (like on Shaq VS) to know that he's just a kid having a great time. I'd guess he's pretty clueless about a lot of what's going on in (and out of) his world right now (parents, handlers, managers, agents, etc.). I'll let him become an adult before I decide whether or not I hate him as a person. But I still have no clue how he became so huge, so fast. It's suspect.

I think he became so huge so fast with the help of Youtube. Tis the era we live in now...Wanna be a star..upload videos, get a nice hefty amount of views and you just might have a shot.

Not that it truly matters, but it may indicate a thinning of the hair. Not baldness per say. (Having seen this on my older relatives.)
