i doubt WB will have any iintrest in releacing 20ten. He would have to come up with another album.

Unless the deal included other releases such as remasters or live stuff or a 12" collection?

it could also be prince may want premission to release more from the vault. Make no mistake WB has say in many of thoes songs.

I wouldn't think so either, considering they were not delivered to WB as albums.

If anything WB is meeting with Prince as a courtesy, grudgingly acknowledging the joint custody and well being of the kids,... a conjoined trust fund.

No way WB will be releasing 20ten, music like 20ten is the reason they split up in the first place.

Maybe a different album, but there is no way any executive can justify their salary and put this out into the world, especially since fans already have it. There is no way to monetize this new album in the US.

hah!

music like 20ten is the reason they split up in the first place.
20Ten is the bomb, stop sleepin' lol

Bullshit.

Anyone with any pull (and WB has it) can make any record a hit. Do you think "You Could Have Whatever You Like" would be a hit without some programming director getting his balls licked? How about "I Want To Be A Billionaire"? You don't think there are at least three to four songs on 20Ten that have more pop appeal, more integrity? A child could come up with "Billionaire" if you gave him a casio and ten bucks with a promise of ten more if he came up with a cool sounding hook. Music these days is full of promoters and the number one songs now just have the best promoters, not the best music. Yes, sometimes it just so happens that talented people mix with good promotion and there are good songs at the top. It is just not always the case. Prince needs to play nice with the system if he wants to get a hit again, plain and simple. But we all need to acknowledge that there is a machine working all of this whose wheels are greased with money, bitches, and favors. And at the very least it is greased with good music.

I feel bad that Prince (or the several other artists that make great music) have to put up with the whole merry-go-round to sell records. And the sad thing is, the merry-go-round is flawed. They are finding it harder to keep their own carnival open. I just thank God we still get to hear what Prince is creating.

"I want to be a billionaire so frikking bad." Hah. That is a number one song's actual lyrics. Amazing. And sad.

I wish u heaven
