I don't know if my monitor's wide enough.

Seriously, is that what we saw? I know I'm not an expert on such things, but still...I never saw anything like that.

It's amazing how many similarities there are to 'Purple Rain'...

*Prince and Morris are, once again, competing with each other musically
*Prince and Morrris are, once again, competing for the affections of a latina lady
*In 'Purple Rain',Prince performs one really nasty song ("Darling Nikki") which is meant to piss everyone off.In 'GB,Prince performs one really nasty song ("Tick,Tick,Bang") and gets the same type of reaction, lol.
*In 'Purple Rain',Prince performs a big, dramatic ballad that makes everything alright ("Purple Rain").In 'GB',Prince performs a big, dramatic ballad ("Still Would Stand All Time") which makes everything alright.

For 'GB',he recycled alot of ideas from 'Purple Rain',only this time,he just couldn't make it work.I think he should have went in an entirely different direction for the sequel.

That performance was ridiculous disbelief lol That's supposed to be his big "battle" song, and yet the performance is comical.

Hell yes it was!!!! nod I think I need to go rent the movie so I can get my laugh on again. It's the only Prince movie I don't own. lol

I remember the song sounded like a lullaby or something. It was awful.

ooh I can't hold it....ooh it's gettin' all over me lol

One interesting theory about this performance: This scene is supposed to represent what Prince went through a few years earlier with 'The Black Album'.He creates something evil and nasty ("Tick Tick Bang"),allowing his evil twin to dominate.
