Can you share your thoughts about this bootleg? I have it just today (my first Prince bootleg!) and I'm curious how do you feel about this record..The first thing I've noticed is the changing quality between some songs. Why Prince or someone else added more songs not included on the released version?

Most of the material features outtake recordings from Prince, but does not feature MIles Davis.

One track (usually referred to on bootlegs incorrectly as 'The H Man') is Miles Davis' recording of 'Amandla'. It does not include Prince.

I love the song, "Crucial." The version on "Crystal Ball," is the only one I am familiar with.

It's romantic and sweet, and feels like a lover's urgent call to their mate.

The only known studio recording to feature both Miles Davis and Prince is "Can I Play With U".

That's not entirely true. There's also "Sticky Wicked" from Chaka Khan's CK album (so you could say this is the only released track to feature both Miles and Prince, as "Can I Play With U" was never released.)

Did he re-record them? Because, you know, in my pc Power Fantastic is tagged as it is from "The Hits 3 (1993)" and LastHeart "The Short Album (2007)", both weren't included on the released version. And the quality on both of them is normal, not bootleg..

Prince bootlegs are, and have always been unauthorized releases. The quality varies from song to song because these are not singular projects and the sources vary. One song can be culled from a first generation tape, while the next one may have only been available from a well-worn tape of a tape of a tape. Information that accompany bootlegs (especially in the early days) can be quite misleading, as is the case with the Miles davis mention on Crucial. It's the black-market, you gets what you gets.

I bought the Crucial CD boot many years ago when it was one of the only studio outtake discs around. There are updated versions of Crucial on the web that have been tweaked and/or sourced from better material.

Outtake-wise, a person with a lot of patience can get a comprehensive 35+ CD collection in lossless quality by downloading sets like The Work or Work It. There are also lossy sets like Testament and The iVault.

Then, you can concentrate on finding the live stuff.

Mine has a different cover (not surprisingly) - it's very old.

It has a song marked "Welcome 2 the Rat Race" which everyone appears to refer to as "In a large room with no light" - is one or the other verified as the definitive title?
