When I was 10, the song 1999 on the radio captured my ear.
A friend of mine would call me to say "That Prince song is on the radio right now!"
The next couple of years while his music was everywhere, I would love some singles & dislike others.
It wasn't until ATWIAD came out that I really fell for Prince's music hard, and I'm just as crazy now as I was then :-) LOL
