I'm kinda shocked - I thought he would give Bria tonight, and then kill it with Dreamer or C&C or even Colonized Mind For the big finale Friday. I just can't imagine him letting her do the last night!? Makes me wonder if she won't be performing at all beg I mean does anyone know if she actually has performed in front of a live audience before? Something as big as The Tonight Show for a debut might be a little intimadating for her.

I disagree totally. He sounds like he had a lot of fun making this song and the album as a whole. Come on he even shouts out Obama!

I wonder, though - if Friday isn't their lowest night in terms of viewers. shrug

Or maybe...he will do one of her songs himself.

Great move, he has to get "Dreamer" out front every chance he gets.

This is the one and only song on the three albums that would motivate non fams to buy this CD

I had already been thinking this, but now that I read a few post above that he performs "Dreamer" tonight, now I really think this....

That maybe on Friday night he will perform TWO songs, one from Bria's album first and then one of his own. I have a feeling that may happen....

just rewatched the performance from last night with my head phones and it was better than I remembered.

the studio version is just killer though... band needs to work the kinks out I guess

Holle Berry is so ridiculous hot.... all I could was stare at her a$$ at the end when she walked up to P and gave him a hug

"The white house is now black." Real profound from a dude who has publicly stated he doesn't vote.

Even if his childish statement were true, I mean, what did HE have to do with it? confused

really

I got news for you I know plenty R&B/Funk fans that would turn off the TV as soon as he struck a cord to play Dreamer. You guys think only about the music you want to hear Prince do

There are plenty of folks that aren't fans of Prince that would love Old Scool Company or Dance 4 Me just to name two songs

You rock on Prince fans get on my damn nerves.... mad

Horrible song and performance last night from Prince. Yikes...Hopefully tonight is much better and the "band" is in the pocket. The most lackluster performance I have ever seen from Prince, and I have seen him over 150 times. Thank goodness Halle Berry was on the show as she added some entertainment value at least.

Was he trying to be profound? Or was it a play on a black man in the white house? Some of you truly need to get a f'ing life... its just ridiculous

Was I NOT being sarcastic by saying it was profound? Maybe it's YOU who needs a life, instead of letting somebody else's comments on a message board get you so uptight. lol

And seeing as I've not heard the albums yet, I can already guess I'm gonna have my finger hovering above the fast foward button on this one. Ready to strike!falloff

Seeing as we Americans live in a democracy wherein people VOTE to elect their leaders, I'd say it has alot to do with him (a NON voter by choice) saying that.

It's like he wants to claim victory for something he had nothing to with. So no, I won't "shaddup". thumbs up!

Ok lets go here for a moment.... even if he didn't vote he is black so maybe hes proud. I say that knowing full well thats not what he was doing anyhow

Get a life and stop putting so much thought into every friggin word the dude says. You sound ridiculous

Clearly hes playing off the word white house, the fact that an african american is President, and if that can happen then maybe radio can change too

why does that have to be explained eek
