Which was the last new P song that knocked you off you feet when you heard it for the 1st time?

Mine was actually 'Planet Earth' [the song]. It blew me away, the piano, the lyrics, the great guitar solo and the live feel.

I have only recently "rediscovered" Prince, therefore, a huge majority of his music is new to me. I've been knocked off my feet several times.

I've been knocked off my feet by:
GettOff
7
all of Live at the Aladdin
The Dance
Papa
3121
The Holy River
Guitar
My Name Is Prince
Call My Name
Strollin'
Diamonds and Pearls
Black Sweat
Sexy Motherfucker
Thieves in the Temple
Scandalous
Joy in Repetition
Insatiable

There are lots of others that I like. Not all of them had the WOW! effect on me though. I don't think there is anything I've heard of his that I don't like.

As I have been listening to as much of Prince's music as possible over the last few months, to me, he is the most versatile musician I have EVER seen and heard.
No matter your age, pursue your dreams so that you will LIVE.

upon 1st listen it would b get on the boat since it's the last track off of 3121
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I've enjoyed many songs in the 2000's, but probably hearing the Rainbow Children for the first time made me think "Prince is Back!"

And virtually every song. I was so happy to be listening to an interesting & creative Prince album for the first time since the 80's.

Since then, I've narrowed down my favorites, and The Everlasting Now and Everywhere are probably my favorites from that album. But overall, it still leaves me with the hope that he can do it again.

Last one? Chelsea Rodgers.
