Prince invited her as his guest June 28th 2014.She talked about it in her letter to him that was posted a few pages back.She said he told her then that This Could B Us was written about them.She posted the cover of the single on her FB the next day.June 22nd she posted a shot from When Doves Cry of her kissing his cheek and captioned it I Love U Forever.She was posting a lot about him that month.The posts are still on her timeline.

This painting someone did back then. It was funny because before I saw this one, I had a dream a bunch of Prince fans were outside of a place to remember Prince and I saw him descend into the crowd. People couldn't see him. But he was floating like in the picture, but skipping and dancing around wispering to people.

—Sorry But Denise was crazy when she was on drugs and Apples was not the only one to say so. Dez’s called her the Yoko Ono of their band when she got on the bus. Denise got better later when she was saved and once again I honestly think the word hate needs to stop being used when people are being honest about unpleasant behavior [Edited 2/22/18 6:00am]

Much respect to all -but Dez is the one who dissed Denise for having so much time with Prince and influence so yes he would call her Yoko Ono and anything name to suit a person he felt was influencing Prince in a way he did not agree with.

Denise was not crazy when with Prince on drugs. She worked years after she left Prince. However she did admit she did get to the point she was "crazy" as you worded it. She did not stay that way.

Denise owned her demons and it is wonderful to see just how much she changed from that drug addicted person to a woman who transformed lives and helped others who like she needed help. THAT is why aashe was special and she and Apples were friends once they both "grew up". They had their bad days but those were over - they were friends.

Denise did not stayed locked up in the 80s. She was not bad mouthing anyone publicly at all and it is interesting that cannot be said about others speaking of her.

Denise was a special soul who loved her God and others. She touched and had a hand in transforming many lives.

So does “ditch” mean they did have a “relationship”??? Why does that take the shine off the book??? That lost me.

I thought it would be nice just to have a perspective that was a female friend as opposed to a lover. Too much ego/emotions get tied up in it, imo, when sex/intimacy is a part of the overall relationship.
