Yes, Mayte and her Mother threw shade at Prince on "Hollywood Exes", and her mother said "As a musician, I like him, but not as a son in law", and also she stomped her feet on the floor to suggest that she was squashing Prince like a bug. It was just very hateful and childish, imo. I mean, to go on a reality show and do that....for the whole world to see? I don't think Prince deserved any of that.

I think a lot of the woman Prince was with in his lifetime knew exactly what they were getting themselves into. You would have to be a strong woman to put up with Prince. I'm not saying that to be negative, but it's the truth. His music was his life and everything else came second. I'm not saying he was a perfect boyfriend or husband; he certainly wasn't the best husband, but when you marry a rock star, you are not going to have a tradional marriage, and this is Prince we are talking about.

Some women are so desperate to be with someone like Prince that they lose all self-respect, and they don't care if he cheats on them or tosses them aside like yesterdays trash.

I see a lot of women who are married to rock stars and they put up with a lot of shit than the average woman would not.
