The email does look as if it is indeed from a fan coalition, but the "lord thing is just odd"

Who knows. Maybe if Prince can do business with Jamie Lewis, he can or is willing to consider doing business with a fan syndicate that agrees to put up money up front for the rights to distribute his releases. The economics of that kind of deal escapes my imagination, but I suppose it is not out of the realm of the possible. I guess Prince.org is taken so he can't use that web addy. Just a question: would Prince lose his fans if he dropped the NPG & went on a solo career without making such a big deal about the band members? Wdyt? I'm looking forward to seeing what this website brings for us!! Either way I'm cool with how P delivers his music but I would still prefer to buy his albums in a shop or even online. IF the oneNPG.org IS a fan collective.... wouldn't there at least be a handful of fans here on this .org that have some insight on this project?
Either way I dont care if it gives us access to the Vault I'm all for Whatever this is....

A slight danger IF this is a game of Prince's it's Just a matter of time before someone takes advantage of our excitement and mocks up an unofficial site and tricks us into entering credit card numbers and whatnot. I think the Prince camp is going to have to be a little more careful how they are doing business here... At this point ANYONE could put on the mask and make us think what we're seeing is a Real website.
The Only reason I'm somewhat in belief of oneNPG.org is that it's a news item on drfunkenberry.. at this point you think he wants to ruin his reputation?

hi everyone, Yggor from Poland here, been reading the org for a long time, finally decided to write something as well. I can't wait to c what 2013 brings it is unfolding.
One interesting thing if you want 2 believe ONEnpg is official: the FONT!
They have used Neutraface - a font you have 2 buy 2 b able to use. And what is even better - the same font was used in the Montreux teaser video.
Coincidence? Eye don't think so

He had a really good band name once....
His lawyers should pursue a Uniform Domain Name Dispute for prince.com. The guy in Hong Kong who owns it doesn't appear to be using it. If I were him, I'd use my trademark to try to get PrinceMusic.com too.

OneNpg.org was registered on 21-jan-2013 - before prince2013.com but after 3rdeyegirl.com were registered... though 3rdeyegirl.com wasn't "known" until February.
Of course, it could all be coincidence...

I don't believe in coincidences, I think it's a strategic move by Prince or someone in what I call the 'purple circle' who initiated this, IMHO ...Seems like Prince is pretending to be a bunch of fans begging to get Prince to finally release some of the THOUSANDS of unreleased songs. It doesn't matter to me if this is one of Prince's games or really just some fans. I just want the music.
Prince thinks he is some creative genius on some huge scale. His "Groundbreaking" hidden track on 20Ten. His innovative use of 77 Tracks on 20Ten as a slap at the fans who paid $77 for a Lotus Flow3r membership two weeks before the site went offline...
His silly game about sending a fake cease and desist letter to the 3rd Eye Girl You Tube account was another thing where he thought he was so far ahead of the curve, when everydamn body from Bart to KCOOLMUZIQBOOBOO knew it was Prince.
Ok, enough clowning on Prince. I just hope it results in Physical Cds mastered properly and not overly clipped and compressed way too loud and distorted like most modern cds. Moonbeam Levels better not comeout sounding like Moonpie levels.
And speaking of Bart and KCOOLMUZIQBOOBOO, here's some shameless cross-posting, but I don't cross post unless I really like something I wrote, which isn't often, but :
