Actually, in this case and knowing that some Prince enthusiasts won't be happy with anything Prince releases himself. What is absurd about that fact is how happy they all seem 2 be with all the inferior bootleg crap there is out there. Now that 2 me is crazy!!!! And in this case, I choose 2 base my opinions on my own experiences rather than by the experiences of others. Maybe the streaming could be a smoother,sure. I downloaded the Lotusflow3r zip file but there doesn't appear to be anything in it! Any idea how to find the music?

Chocolate Box and Crimson & Clover were both 'SNEAK PEAKS'.....WTF!!!!! - I'm a video game person and am familiar with flash sites like this so I had no problem figuring out how to sign up or find the content.... but I know many did. Now that pissed me off. I'm a video lover and although I got hold...umm... watched some vids never before seen... I really expected those two to be up as promised. Over all... was the $77 worth it.... hmmm... for me yes. As I'm a person who is looking at it in terms of 'the year'... not just 'today' today I got enough to tide ne over for awhile. I want my two new videos.. but I'm happy with the new and HQ versions of the older and bootleg stuff I got. Now I have to go listening to the albums. I'll review them tommorrow on my Myspace blog in proper fashion as I have the lasty feew albums. My guess is that the other two vids will be up by this weekend. The Bria video seems to have been released today or yesterday but the other two not. I guess they're coordinating the releases of the other two until after their official release with the major video channels. Were do you get the other albums? I can only found Lotusflow3r. | |

i wasn't asked! and i didn't see a picture of the shirt, either...though i can imagine it. It was on the initial sign up screen which I suspect most people glossed over in their eagerness to sign up. Especially if they were looking to buy tickets before they were gone. (I personally was in a rush to seize my screen name before anyone else took it LOL so vain.) With regards to value for money - the question should be was it worth....
$6.42 As if its a 12 month site, then that is how much you are paying each month through your 12 month subscription. So far, despite choppy video (which I hope they fix pronto) and the inability to download the lyrics (pdf much) - getting 3 albums for $2.14 each seems pretty reasonable. Well, i'm not negative towards Prince, i'm grateful for whatever he gives us, so as fans we always want too much, but that's because we been spoilt over the last 30 years, my first impressions are, why does he have to have such a high tech site, my computer isn't man enough to cope with it, so i'll have to get a new one when i can afford it, i have 2 of the albums downloaded, still having problems with MPLSound, will have to wait till i get home from work later, am loving Lotusflow3r album, very TRC influenced, not sure on Elixer, is it worth $77, not sure but i'm gonna keep my chin up and hope for more to com includin Dico Jellyfish.

I used Firefox and had no issues with registering and navigating and even downloading, all worked fine. Albeit slowly!
I had to use my wifes credit card as none of mine would be accepted, so we had issues being in Brighton, UK. You can download both wav and mp3 if you wish, I downloaded both, although the mplsound wav took me 3 goes to get the complete file. File sizes are; exiler wav - 428mb lotusflow3r wav - 456mb mplsound wav - 465mb I was surprised that mplsound does not have disco jellyfish on it as the mp3 that was in my cache when it was on the tape player had a track id of 10 and an album of mplsound on it and the release of mplsound on the site only has 9 tracks, mmmmm I thought that for our $77 we would get EVERYTHING!! Also that LotusFlow3r does not have Crimson & Clover on it! Does anyone know what is going on with the t'shirt also how do they know what size to send you, it was on the image when we signed up but no mention of it once we are in there, well for me anyway! After shelling out $77 for albums I can't access, I am very frustrated. Dealing with Prince is like being in an abusive relationship. He is very nice, sweet as pie. We exchange good feelings. He gives his music (or the promise), I give my money. We are harmonious and then something happens and he wigs out. I am left broke, music-less, and lonely. The only saving grave about this time is I wasn't sued. Prince fix your stuff and hold up your end of the deal. It should not be this hard. Why do you make things so difficult? I don't need all the graphics and pomp and circumstance, just the music and access to promo concert seats. Simple formula. | |
