.

With some patience he could have filled a venue twice the size and halved the ticket price.

Maybe even removing the 'need' to do two (regular) concerts in a row.

Ouch. At least I get a lot of Aeroplan points. hahah

I was budgeting for sub-$100 tickets, but when I was offered back-of-floor (orchestra) for $150/ea, I was pretty sure I'd have to rethink my plan...

There will be 2 shows! 8 pm and 11 pm. The Ticketmaster links are up:

8 pm: http://www.ticketmaster.ca/prince-3rdeyegirl-hitnrun-tour-toronto-ontario-05-19-2015/event/10004EB1E2B414E2

11pm: http://www.ticketmaster.ca/prince-3rdeyegirl-hitnrun-tour-toronto-ontario-05-19-2015/event/10004EB10E781AC0

Are the two shows gonna have more or less the same song list??

What's usually the drill? This is gonna be my first time going to Prince's concert and i've been waiting for this day for many many many years!! Damn i'm so excited! T-T

Though i'd love to have the money and time to stay for both concerts to know what's going on but i don't think it's realistic for me lol. Still got work the next day.

quit being so defensive

.

look at the setlists from the kentucky shows - all four had a block of hits, a sampler set, and a few "special" songs that are played only semi-regularly. The toronto shows will probably be similar. Sorry for speaking on Empress' behalf, but to me it sounds like she was just trying reassure a fan who was worried about not being able to make it to both shows.

.

fansiyi - if you don't know what the setlists are like, don't look into them! It's better to be surprised. It'll be a blast!

They must have staggered the release of seats as it was sold out then after serval more attempts good seats surfaced. Very pleased to get great seats after a stressful 30 minutes of "Still searching for tickets...."

Grabbed a "Pit seat" for the 8pm amd can anyone give me an idea of what type of setlists we can expect here in Toronto?

as I look on setlist.fm I see all kinds of diffferent sets - 1 is about 18-19 songs and others in March are 35-40 songs ?

thx in advance

I live in Kitchener, Ontario and am in my last few months of high school. I don't have my own car and my parents are preoccupied and wouldn't be able to go. I've even looked into bussing there and back but that isn't an option. lol It would work if I had a means of transportation, but I guess I'll just have to wait until he comes back around next time.

I'm sorry to hear this. Is Greyhound not an option due to cost? The ride can't be that long at all.

Greyhound would be perfect but I would get home around 1:00 AM and buses in my area stop running around 12. The walk home would be an hour and a half. Ah well. I'm sure he'll be around again.

.

it's very tight but here's one way that might be feasible...

.

go to the 8:00 show so you can make it to the Union Station GO bus terminal for 10:50 pm. This should be feasible because the Sony Centre is a short walk from the bus station. Make sure you know exactly where you're going, though, because you don't have a lot of time.

.

Take the 10:50 Milton Bus (Route 21 H) to Square One in Mississauga. You should get there at 11:35. At Square One, transfer to the 11:40 Waterloo Bus (Route 25). Last I checked the GO Bus terminal at Square One is pretty small, so it shouldn't be too hard to find the right spot to wait for the bus, but you can always ask the Milton Bus driver where you should go to catch the Waterloo Bus. Better to be safe than sorry because you don't have too much time.

.

The Waterloo Bus can drop you off in Kitchener at Frederick & King, Laurier University, or UofW. Maybe one of those places is close enough to home and maybe Kitchener transit still runs that late - you'll get to Kitchener around 1:00 am.
.
Here are the relevant schedules.

.

MILTON (Route 21)

http://www.gotransit.com/timetables/en/schedules/schedules_window.aspx?tableid=21&dir=E&date=2015-05-19&corridorname=Milton&parentid=1

.

WATERLOO/MISSISSAUGA (Route 25)

So I've heard Prince is not a fan of phones and cameras at his shows I am assuming?

If not I would have offered to use "periscope" and stream the show Live from the Pit... too bad
