Chillax my friend, patience is a virtue. It's probably too cold for him right now. I am sure the funk is headed that way. I must admit that living in Central Cali has it's advatages. 3.5 hours from the Bay Area and 2.5 from Los Angeles. I am loving life right now. OWWA!

Well that makes more sense that not all of the shows are going to be at the Forum. Maybe this tour is for all of California. Still alot of dates considering he was just in Oakland. I'd love to see him at a smaller venue but with the stage set up, that's probably not likely.

So Prince returns to the Forum. This is where I saw him during the Purple Rain tour.

If I was you I would have gone to the NYC shows in a heartbeat, what it is it 500 miles ?

If I decide to go to the LA shows from Australia it is roughly 10,000 miles so get over yourself.

Who knows? Maybe Chicago will be next. We have no idea what his plans are for the rest of the year. It just means that for the next couple of months or so he will be parked in LA.

The Forum is no longer a top notch venue and cannot be compared to the O2 Arena, in London. With that said, the Purple Rain tour was great there. I'm sure Prince would have selected elsewhere if not for the size of the stage. The AEG/Live Nation situation has nothing to do with why the Staples Center is not the venue next week; it's simply not available, not only due to the Lakers and playoffs, but also the Kings/playoffs, Clippers, and other previously booked events. Of course, Prince can sell out 21 shows in L.A., but it would require a little more than 7 day notice, a great deal of promotion, and an adjustment per ticket pricing. This is an opportunity to get even more varied with set lists, protocol, tempo, wardrobe, encores, etc. If someone doesn't think he should do 21 shows in one city, I guess they don't know he's 21 times more talented, with 21 times more material than most of his peers in the music business. Are we spoiled in L.A.? Absolutely. But by now, a person in Chicago should know how to read weather reports. Until Thursday, I'll be at the beach.

I live in L.A. ..and I don't wanna be sitting at home knowing Prince is in town. Buy me tickets?

Oh my goodness... This is so awesome! I will be in LA from May 5-8. He surely won't be playing 21 days, straight, right? He will need a day off here and there.. If it's 21 days straight starting the 14th, I'll miss him by ONE day Hopefully when dates are announced, he'll have a few dates scheduled from when I'm there.. Crossing my fingers. This would be a great addition to my trip

I think Dr.FB stated they're not all going to be at the forum. Maybe he'll do 7 shows per month, equalling 21 nights, between April/May/June, and stretch it out like that. Guess LA folks will just have to wait and see.

WOw, not all shows will be at the Forum. I am hoping he schedules May 13th. I found a flight for $378 from Philly. I could get a cheap hotel at LAX and run to the Forum.

This will be a great weekend trip.

I'm going to try to get to at least one of these shows!!!! I have a brother in Oceanside, Ca. (close enough to L.A. ) I won't have to worry about hotel fare - just airfare and the price of the ticket!!!
