Erm I don't he is anybody's act as such. AEG was certainly the promoter of the 2004 Musicology Tour AND own the O2 so promoted the 21 Nights Residency there. Is he with Livenation for these current Welcome2America dates?

Is there a kind of travel insurance that reimburses the buyer for airline tickets and hotel bills if a concert the insured travelled to attend is cancelled?

He didn't sell out the other ones, even though he said he did.

The other stops had cheap seats and the closer you got the more expensive they were. Due tot he stage set up, expect some really pricey ones to be close to the stage. From what I gathered there are 2 tiers for the expensive tickets. IMO, DONT get the ones that are one tier below the "Purple Circle" as I believe they only get you intot he first sections where as the top tier gets you a special table right by the stage.

For those that are trying to penny pinch, get the cheapo seats and then scout out the folks that are trying to fill in the lower sections that didn't sell. I went from nose bleeds to 11th row (Which I think were the second most expensive seats).

Just thought I would check here today to see if there was any word on Prince coming to Los Angeles and find this!!!!!!!!! 21 nights at the Forum. YES!! Just told my girlfriend last week about Prince touring and she said, "Sell our Janet Jackson tickets, I'd rather see Prince." I just sold them yesterday. (sorry Janet) I like the Forum better than the Staples Center for a concert. It has better sound. That's a whole lot of concerts though. Hopefully he'll be able to pack them in each night. I can't wait!!! I probably can't do more than two concerts so when , is the best time to go? At the beginning when he's still fresh, at the end when he brings it home or somewhere in the middle?? Who knows???

That's a lot of nights for such a huge place.

The third night at Oakland wasn't sold out, though it was pretty crowded. But they closed down entire sections.

Maybe there will be better publicity for the LA shows, the Oakland ones were last second

He did come to my town, or at least his band did. But the concert was not to be. Anyway it sounds like my wife is not going to let me fly halfway across the country to see this dude, so I guess I'm out. Although they do have a fare sale on American Airlines to LAX right now...

I absolutely agree with you!!! It is so exciting to read the news about the 21 concerts and I love how Prince continues to surprise everybody!!! He is unpredictable and it is one of the things I love about Prince!! Wish I could be in L.A. for a few shows, but although that is not possible I am happy he is so active with these high profile performances, especially since they get such rave reviews everywhere!

I'm making intentions now and I'd like to go to the final 'week' for the show. Considering that there is no dates announced just yet, there's plenty of time to request time off, if it's gonna be 21 days.

looks like I better start making my travel arrangements.

What Im going to do is take that little backpack of mine, get dressed at my friend's dorm or something, grab me something to eat, get down there and study then have myself a good ol time. We def got to plan a meet up for us now hehe, 21 nights makes me think he heard us begging, plus he knows where is at.

"I will be starting a 21-night stand next Thursday the 14th at the L.A. Forum with [his band] the New Power Generation and a whole gang of special guests," Prince said. "I'm gonna blast the roof off that place, I promise!" A rep for the singer later clarified to the Los Angeles Times that not all of the dates will be at the Forum, and said detailed will be available soon.

Prince then said he'll appear on Lopez's show on Wednesday night to discuss the residency further. More information was not available at press time; information about the shows had not yet appear on the Forum's website.
