Does anybody know if children are allowed to this show? I cannot get anybody at Oracle to answer their phone and I don't want to get my eleven year old all excited for nothing. Any help would be wonderful! smile

I see no reason why not. I've seen plenty of kids at arena shows. It's not like a club that has a minimum age.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking. If they have a problem I will get him a fake moustache and he will look at least 12! lol

Oops...sorry, thought it hadn't posted.

Well ‘they’ say there will be more shows for the Bay Area to be announced.

And knowing him and his peeps... I suspect they may be using these 2 short-notice shows to gauge his draw in ticket sales for tha Bay Area. Evidently towards the end of his Madison Square Garden, NY shows, ticket sales slumped to the point where he hadn’t even sold out. And you know Prince, he rarely doesn’t sell out every show.

And since 'we' here in tha Bay Area love tha guy he’s sure 2 sell out these 2 shows in record time!!!

I think there will be more shows, and hopefully smaller more personal venues will be included!!

Crossing my fingers... LOVE U PRINCE I"VE SO MISSED U !!!

Not true. ALL the MSG shows sold out. I wondered about 2/7 until I got to the Garden and it said on the screen outside of MSG that the show was sold out. Now NJ was a different case. I'm sure that Prince will sell out at least one of the Bay Area shows. I'm glad this tour is now really a tour. Prince is on fire right now and everyone needs to see just how kickass that man STILL is! biggrin

Sorry, the final MSG shows certainly NOT sold out. There were a bunch of empties in the 400 level. Still, the other 3 did so that's certainly pretty good.

We all know that none of the Izod shows were close to sold out and one was cancelled.

Yeah, that's true about the Izod but I was able to trade tickets and get great floor seats where I could see everything! biggrin

Wow! Horrendous wait times now.

I got in super fast and was in and out in 30 seconds. Fortunately, I got an easy CAPTCHA word. I did about as well as I could have possibly done given the price range I went for. As for what seats I got, you will have to check my "What seats did you get" thread.

I Believe those seats are the "club"seats #s 101, 102, 113-116, 127, and 128. They are dark blue on the seating chart.

After getting my tickets I decided to check the verious price levels to see how fast the shows were selling. The initial rush took about 45 minutes and it has settled down at this point.

Monday is the most sold of the two shows so far. That said, it's not even close to being sold out. Tickets in all price levels are available and the rows are not filled that far back.

Wednesday is not selling that well, period. Could I see the Wednesday show being canceled and grouped in with Monday? Absolutely.

Will there be an additional show on Thursday? Hell no.

This is an example of stupid promoting. Announcing these shows with so little time to spare was not a good idea and I was afraid of this. The fact that it's on the tail end of a holiday weekend makes it even worse because people have made other plans. I'm glad Prince is coming to the Bay Area, but they did a horrible job putting these shows together. I'm surprised that they even announced the Wednesday show at the same time. They should have waited for Monday to sell out first.

Agree with you on that one. I'm still banking on exchanging Wednesday tix for closer in the same section, if it isn't cancelled. Did it at the Izod. If it is cancelled, then I still have Monday tix. wink

searching the differnt prices it looks like if you get seats behing the stage or curve it cost half the amount if you get the in front by the runway tip to the cross on the stage by the piano.
