The moquake site lists ticket prices and ticket master listes prices as a ranger from like $50-250 with no specific prices in between. Am I wrong to assume that there will be mid priced tickets like moquake show or should I just stick to the vague price range listes on ticketmaster's site? my friend wants a ticket and is willing to pay up to $150.00 for it, but I havent seen a price like that listed on ticketmaster.

There are 4 price ranges not including VIP. There was an official email sent on Wednesday for those on the Oracle Arena email list. It was very clear.

Now, apparently there will be VIP seats as well. This still doesn't mean that there will be a custom stage, but I'm sure we will know more Friday morning before tickets go on sale. There will be a seating chart and detailed pricing info available before tickets go on sale.

I apologize in advance to those of you who know they are going to show up late, but I really hope these shows are will call only. A lot of scalpers are going to see these shows as a way to make a quick buck. I hope they get shafted tomorrow. Fuck them. They're scum.

Ok, thanks for the info. I just noticed that the ticketmaster site now mentions VIP packages and also says that the door will open at 6:30... Wow, a VIP package would sure be fun... but I don't know if I'm willing to go totally broke for this.

Thanks, I will try to hold my head up and see if there is anything that I can afford. Can someone talk about the VIP? I mean, do you know what is it and where it is?

It all depends on the stage set up.

If it's the guitar-shaped stage he used at MSG the VIP seating will be done in the same manner. $750 table seats and $500 for other floor seats.

If it's a standard set up the first few rows in the center section will be the high priced VIP seats. Perhaps rows 1-3. Rows 4-10, or thereabouts, will be the second tier VIP seats. The row breakdown may not be exact, but it will be something like that. I saw Roger Waters at Oracle in December and that's pretty much how it worked. Then again, he also had several months to sell tickets.

If they get too greedy with the number of VIP seats at these shows they will likely not sell out all of them. The price will then lower come Sunday into Monday. It's a risk, but it might almost be better to wait and get a better deal on marked down VIP seats. The same thing happened for all of the MSG shows even though they were "sold out". Really REALLY good seats became available in the highest non-VIP price tier in the days leading up to the shows.

We were given those prices directly from Live Nation so it should be safe to asume they're correct.

They were also on the press release.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..........

It's going to be that guitar-shaped stage. So much for having a non-obstructed view on the floor.

VIP details are on Ticketmaster.

Ticketmaster shows the symbol stage configuration today for VIP tickets, even though the regualr seats show a basketball court seating chart. VIP tix are probably $750 and $500 as they were in NJ and NYC.

I am wondering what the best of the $75 seats might be like with this stage.

Well, I went to the ticketmaster's link that was given here, and it says database is no longer with this event. Before it worked... Okay, don't panic

I am wondering now, someone else try the link and tell me what happens..maybe its my isp?!?eek

UPDATE: went direct without this link here....all is there, now I can breath!

I think it's a standard setup. On the date between the 2 concerts, its a basketball game. Would they really put the big ass prince symbol in the middle of the arena when all they woul dneed to do is make a normal stage set up?

The Ticketmaster site has the Prince map defaulted to the Golden Gate Warrriors layout.

My money is on it being in the round. Prince has said he loves that set-up and would rather play in the round instead of any other set-up. Doesn't mean it will be on the prince stage but I think it will be in the round.biggrin

Okay yeah that is what I am hoping and thinking. Oracle has a pretty big in-the-round setup. Saw Britney Spears there on her Circus tour and it was huge. Hopefully this means better tiered pricing than 47 or 240. I would really not mind paying 75 bucks or so (like was mentioned in one of these threads), but I ain't goin for broke for 2011 Prince. I would go for broke for a 1995 Prince, but 2011 is a lil shaky.

I really wish that it would be a standard setup, but it's not looking that way. Ticketmaster has a link for the VIP ticket info and it looks to be the same as MSG. This really sucks. That guitar shaped stage sucks ass and some of the most expensive floor seats are going to have obstructed/limited views. For those of you going for VIP seats....... good luck with that.

I wanted to go for a table, but there are 3 people in my group and for the table seats you have to buy either 2 or 4. No odd #'s. I guess I'm going for the 2nd tier VIP. I just hope I get seats that are in one of the better locations. Some friends who went to the MSG shows had floor seats and said they are hit and miss when it comes to location. You could be stoked, or you could have a lighting rig in your way.

^^^ The stage setup at the Oracle Arena is definitely a center stage arrangement. I just called the Oracle Arena and they confirmed it. The VIP information showing the symbol stage is correct. The end stage arrangement on the Oracle Arena website and the basketball court arrangement on the Ticketmaster site are incorrect. They don't have the floor layout yet on Ticketmaster for the symbol stage. They had better put it up quick! razz lol

The center stage diagram is up at Ticketmaster now. How they're going to take that down for the basketball game and put it back up I'm not sure.

In the round makes things weird for those nearby (2nd row through the club on Musicology meant we were really looking up at him). But it's better overall for the rest of the building.

I don't think stamina is the word for it. Stupid, maybe. nuts

I'm hoping For Section B near the piano. I heard those were the best seats.

Also, I heard that VIP seats are going to be will call only. That's good since it will keep the scalpers away.

I see no reason why not. I've seen plenty of kids at arena shows. It's not like a club that has a minimum age.
