I was right next to this woman he yanked and saw what happened. She was extremely bossy throughout the evening when standing in line. When she got inside the venue she was very annoying throughout the first song, she was right under Prince's nose singing loudly (over him) and banging that tamborine so hard. I think he was distracted by her "Audition for Shelby's job" and did not want the microphones in the front picking up her voice and tamborine instead of his. He banished her to the back. At first she did not want to leave and he yanked her by her hand. Anyway I was glad to see her leave she was a pain in the ass, kept pushing me and was very rude.

Obnoxious people at concerts. People with tambourines at concerts.

The person you are referring to is a friend he personally escorted to sit in his guest section so she would not have to stand up and people were pushing towards the front of the stage and he was concerned for a friend. I think he was a dear friend and gentleman to literally stop playing to personally escort her out of there and have her sit in his guest area.
If you had looked back later you would have seen the person sitting in the area with Larry and Tina and his other guests

You are definitely not telling the truth. Prince came to get her and prior to him coming to get her before the show started security personnel advised her there was a seat available for her if she did not want to stand up. He did not yank her hand at all. He in fact had his hand out to her and was trying to stay back from the people in the crowd like you who were trying to grab at him when he came to get her. He then took her with his arm around her and her arm around him as they walked and were talking to the other side of the stage so she could go to seating.
If you had been to other concerts you would know he actually on several occassions points to her to play her tambourine. And I guess you consider her rude because from what I understand you were one of the people pushing her in the crowd and she asked you to please move back. I would suggest the next time to post something to provide accurate information rather than making false statements to give a false impression. I would think for Prince to stop his concert and personally come down off the stage to escort someone arm in arm is something very positive and obviously he respects her and she respects him.

You can defend her all you want, I was standing right next to her. Prince was standing right in front of me and NO, I did not grab him. I don't grab people like that no matter who they are and I have been to many celebrity filled events. She was creating a racket with her tamborine and annoyed Prince that is the simple truth. You could tell he was pissed on stage and came down to yank her from the front of the stage. She was pushing me and the people to my side all the time, telling me that we were inching into her "space". I spent almost all evening in line with her listening to her bossing everyone around. She is a pain in the ass and no amount of sugar can change that.

No one would be hitting her at all - you can believe that one. People on this site just really should grow up and be adult enough to tell the truth and stop making threats. I guess I expect too much for people to be mature on this site. It is obvious people on this site would rather believe lies than the truth.

I know you are lying. He did not yank her hand because she had in one hand the tambourine and grabbed her purse with the other when he motioned to her to come with him. He was not right in front of you because he was leaning forward and had his arm outstretched to her. You were not the only one standing in the front row area. It sounds like you are just mad that he came off the stage to escort her. It is obvious you have no intention of telling the truth and you will continue to make false statements.

I also heard how you asked her if she was a friend of Prince and tried to ask her about his personal business and she refused to respond to you. You should stop making false statements and next time tell everything and accurately.

Yeah she was taking her time to grab her stuff and move and Prince was getting impatient. I saw the hand yanking...or grabbing whatever rolleyes I was SO relieved she was out of there. It was a wonderful evening without Ms PITA.

I was mad because he came around to escort her out...?? LOL. I would be mad if he escorted me out.

LOL - Girl you get caught in one lie and then create a new lie. Anyone with common sense would say - if he was trying to rush her why would he come to her personally. You really need to tell the truth or work on telling your lies better. But I truly recommend you tell the truth because it will set you free.
They were walking arm in arm and talking so it doesnt sound like someone rushing someone. Well Prince obviously wanted her to have a great evening and enjoy the show and he respected her enough to escort her personally and she was in his guest area. Girl you really need to stop with your lies. Nuff said

Let me break this down for you - Don't you think if Prince wanted someone removed for some negative reason he would say to his security to have the person removed - he came personally to her and she was then in his guest area.

What is it that you do not understand or want to understand that if Prince takes his time and stops his concert to come escort someone personally arm in arm and the person is then in his guest area - that should tell you he was being a gentleman. So I do not know why you want to try to portray him or her in some negative aspect and are willing to make up lies. You obviously have some personal reason for lying - why you are feeling you need to lie is something you need to ask yourself.

I don't profess to know Prince on a personal level. I just love him for the excellent musician he is. I don't know where they went to after they walked away hand in hand..(to the land of OZ? ) to be honest I did not see hand in hand. It was too dark to see anything. I just know he did not want her under his nose making all that noise. Except for her McNasty there was no pushing in the front row, people were quite civil, I was actually surprized. I also had two of my buddies with me behind me). It was a good evening.

All I'm going off of is him leaning against the drums and catching his breath before he started singing on Purple Rain, my mom's reports of him limping (I told her that was just how he usually walked but she thought it was "different", and the way that after he danced he would usually take a really really long break afterwards.

I'm sure he's trying to prove that there is nothing wrong with his hip but there's a lot of evidence that says there very well could be. At least he didn't have a cane in this performance.

This is not me trying to start shit or spread gossip, it is coming from a place of caring and admiration for Prince. The fact that laurarichardson attacked me for it is offensive.

My husband and I were watching him backstage as the music to Purple Rain started. He was not happy about something, pounded his fists on the stage by the stairs and then he obviously got up on stage from the back by the drums ... I could not see how he got on stage from where I was standing, but like I said, it was very obvious to us that he was definitely in pain. And the only reason I have piped up here is because, like you, of my admiration and care for Prince.

I really wish he would get his hip fixed.

And why should anyone believe what you say? Just because you say it's true and your name is 'keepinitreal'? lol

Whether or not she's a friend of Prince's, she's VERY inconsiderate of others who are also trying to enjoy the show.

I believe you Pplrain. If this is in fact the "Tambourine Lady" from Vegas, I have seen Prince personally escort her right off the stage. He had asked someone in the band to pick some audience members to come up and dance and then he walked off stage. I do not recall who it was that night, but when they were done the "Tambourine Lady" just kind of walked right up on stage. When Prince came back on and saw her, he immediately took her by the hand and personally escorted her back into the crowd. A few of us had a good laugh. I am sorry if you are reading this, but it did look pretty funny. I think Prince is just too nice of a soul to really be mean to her.

Well, if she was making a racket with a tambourine, someone should have filled a sock full of pennies and scattered them upside her dome.

No one would be hitting her at all - you can believe that one. People on this site just really should grow up and be adult enough to tell the truth and stop making threats.[b] I guess I expect too much for people to be mature on this site.
It is obvious people on this site would rather believe lies than the truth.

Since this started from a statement I made, I find it funny that KeepinItReal didn't bother to ask what I meant by what I wrote. It could have been taken one of two ways now that I look at it closer. You took your interpretation of my statement and turned it into a negative which is really not what I meant it to be.
Being more adult is good advise but leading by example I'm sure is the way to get that message across.

stillw8ing: I did not turn your posting into a negative. I know what you reported was not to imply anything negative in any way - however I wanted to provide the full information so some people would not try to portray in a negative aspect what actually did occur. My statement of some people not providing false information is not directed toward you at all. So I just want you to know I did not take your statement as negative and was providing additional information.

However, in some instances people on the ORG, as you can see by some posts, who do not know the truth will sometimes believe information posted in a negative manner because some postings which attempt to portray an inaccurate impression. I provided my concern on the false information in some of these posts, I do need to state anything else, and I agree it is about being adult. I also am quite aware everything which occurred was very positive and your initial posting was based on your positive observations. Thank you for your feedback on my postings.

And thank you for replying to mine.
It did get out of hand a little and I most definitely didn't want that to be because of what I posted. I have observed the way things go here and I truely wish that wasn't the case.

I said arm in arm - there is a difference - obviously you do not have an eye for detail or the truth for that matter - it doesn't surprise me. Very sad

It was you who was trying to fudge the truth. I was just keepin it real. wink

I was at a NY show with Dave Chapelle to my side, I didn't see Prince stop the concert and come down to yank his buddy Dave to his "special friend's" quarters.
