Team Kahleesi, here. Not a fan of Euron at all, but this is gonna get interesting with him and Cersei. Now now, everything's gonna be alright, Jaime. Maybe.

"So here I am with a thousand ships, and two good hands" lol

What do you think Euron has up his sleeve for Cersei? I am really hoping it will be a Dragon horn...

The IMP is his gift to her. (Just a guess).

Damn, didn't even dawn on me that it might be something like that! The Team Kahleesi part of me weeps at the notion, but the GoT fanboy in me says that would provide some intense conflict!

Whatever happens, I hope Cersei kills him before she gets hers smile.

I guess what won't happen is that we will see a big ol group hug with the realization that all of this squabbling ain't jack shit when it comes to facing the white walkers. And speaking of, that shot of the walkers and their army of the dead had a giant in tow...that particular giant seemed to have one blue eye - though I only saw the scene once, maybe I'm wrong - which led me to believe it was the walker killed at Winterfell. But, ya know, that just doesn't seem possible, right?

I started a Season 7 thread, so we don't get caught in the trailer thread. But if the OP will change the title of this thread I will delete mine.

Well, they didn't burn the Giant as far as we know...and that is how to keep the dead from turning into white walkers, is to burn the bodies.

I enjoyed the first episode of the new season. I read online that some fans felt that it was too slow paced....in my mind, the pace is right on time. Every episode can't be explosive or shocking. Especially being that this season is going to be extremely short at 7 episodes....until the final season next year. I'm appreciating every second of it.

I think the pacing allowed the dialogue and characters much more room to breathe. That was a very refreshing change after S5 and S6.

I liked the episode specially the beginning, great to see allthose motherfuckers die. But what happened first, the death of the sons or the father's death?

Which seems very inconsistent for Jon Snow's policy, no? I don't think he had the heart to burn his brother, but his policy has been to burn the bodies.

I hadn't considered that, he's dead if he tries there's just too much of a force for him to go to war with attacking Dragonstone. I had assumed he'd sail all the way up North and go after Jon.

I'm assuming he does have to pass that way, regardless.

She cooked two of them. But, Walder Frey has quite a few sons so the poison killed off the rest of them.

Oh, I thought you were referring to the sons killed in this episode. My bad, you are right about that.

I thought Jon made the right decision to dismiss Sansa. He is looking at the bigger picture. If it were under different circumstances, Sansa's advice might have some merit, but her approach was wrong. Also, who exactly would they reward the lands to? The only Northen family who stayed loyal was House Mormont.

There was some strategy to Jon's decision. The lord and lady, being impressionable children, need the support of the new king to solidify their claims to continue as houses. Jon can wield considerable influence over those houses now.

Sansa, on the other hand, should note that Cersei eliminated as many allies as she did friends, and should also note that Cersei paid a "Shame"-ful price for overestimating her abilities. Sansa's trying to play by the old rules despite KNOWING what's coming for them (unlike Cersei, who has no clue).
