Jessica Henwick Reacts to Fans Not Liking Sand Snakes: "It Was Hard"

I blame that more on the writers. The Sand Snakes got short shrift from a character development perspective and their larger sequences really didn't showcase what they were supposed to be -- highly skilled, charismatic warriors.

The Sand Snakes are only a handful of characters where the showrunners, writers and directors didn't do them justice.

Arya and Jon have to see each other again. I'm worried since he's on his way to Dragonstone, they'll miss each other and then events will ensue and lives will alter and their opportunity will be gone.

Maybe since Sansa is there, she'll stay until Jon gets back.

Like Jon's irish or scottish or whatever it's supposed to be accent, it seems to stand out more, in fact quite of few of them seem to have these distinct accents. I'm well aware they are all british actors.

Yeah, it all just felt like a last minute rush job. A shame really, because I love the Dorne storyline in the books.

He could be a linchpin. If his hand is forced, he may have to admit to the world who Jon really is.

So is Arya. So, to an extent, is Sansa. The Stark kids are all broken in some way or another.

So about last night:

1. I root for Daenerys, but she got more titles than Apollo Creed in Rocky. lol I feel like her confidence is overflowing at a time when it shouldn't...of course, this was all BEFORE she found out that the Lannisters have put a huge hole in her plans.

2. My cutie for life, Jon Snow love ....I love how he basically told Dany that her 3 dragons, the Unsullied troops and her right to the iron throne all don't matter once the Night's King comes through. And while we are speaking of that, as viewers of the show, we've obviously seen the Dead Army, however, as Jon explains all of this, putting yourself in someone's shoes who hasn't seen it...it would seem...a bit silly. lol

3. Did y'all catch the beef between Sir Davos and Tyrion about Blackwater? falloff The testosterone was running high. lol

4. Did Cersei nearly rape Jaime? And doesn't Jaime seem awfully uncomfortable around Cersei these days?

5. Poor Tyrion, his "clever" plans for Daenerys have all fallen through the cracks since he forgot that while he knows Cersei well, Jaime knows Tyrion very well.

6. I'm wondering if Sam will find more valuable information and lessons while doing all of the copying of the ancient scrolls.

7. Cersei's costumes as Queen are straight up FIERCE!!!! Sorry, but I just had to mention this.

8. The scene with Greyworm and the Unsullied going to take Casterly Rock while Tyrion was narrating was excellent. But my palms got sweaty when Greyworm realized that something was wrong.

9. I can't help but to think that Theon will prove to be a valuable asset, to somebody during the great war.

10. Did anyone else burst out laughing during the uncomfortable reunion of Bran and Sansa? It surely wasn't like the other Stark reunions. You have Bran sitting there, damn near in a trance while Sansa is going on and on about him being the Lord of Winterfell. Yet when Sansa needs answers about Bran's mysterious "three eyed raven" position, he tells her...nothing but does recall the night she was raped by Ramsey...when her response to that was to exit stage left.

11. I really liked Lady Orlenna and her raw, uncut, brutally honest, giving zero fucks, demeanor. I love that her last words were to reveal the truth about Joffrey's murder and the look on Jaime's face was priceless. I almost thought that he was going to take his sword and cut her head off after, but instead, he just walked away.

12. Cersei believes that she's the HBIC now that the guy from Iron Bank has come which will allow her to make some sort of deal in her favor, BUT as usual with Cersei, it will back fire just like all of her moves in the past that have eventually blown up in her face.

12. So it is true that there's only 7 episodes this season? hmmm

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

She has been visualizing this moment, and on paper, she's got the equivalent of the Golden State Warriors with KD. But she's dropped her first 2 in the series. There was a massive strategic fail on Tyrion's part, and a massive intel fail on Varys' part. Cersei and Jaime outmaneuvered them both, but it took an unlikely wild card -- and HUGE plot license -- in Euron, who built an armada in like 2 weeks and is suddenly everywhere.

2. My cutie for life, Jon Snow love ....I love how he basically told Dany that her 3 dragons, the Unsullied troops and her right to the iron throne all don't matter once the Night's King comes through. He's the only woke player in the Game.

3. Did y'all catch the beef between Sir Davos and Tyrion about Blackwater? falloff The testosterone was running high. lol

I saw some signs of mutual respect there too, Jon stopped Davos from playing the resurrection trump card with Dany. But you know that's coming.

4. Did Cersei nearly rape Jaime? And doesn't Jaime seem awfully uncomfortable around Cersei these days?

It was a counterpart to that ugly scene at Joffrey's wake.

5. Poor Tyrion, his "clever" plans for Daenerys have all fallen through the cracks since he forgot that while he knows Cersei well, Jaime knows Tyrion very well.

Jaime is the MVP. He checkmated his much more clever brother.

6. I'm wondering if Sam will find more valuable information and lessons while doing all of the copying of the ancient scrolls.

He's the greatest medical resident in Oldtown history!

7. Cersei's costumes as Queen are straight up FIERCE!!!! Sorry, but I just had to mention this.

And she got Mountainstein hooked up too!

8. The scene with Greyworm and the Unsullied going to take Casterly Rock while Tyrion was narrating was excellent. But my palms got sweaty when Greyworm realized that something was wrong.

It was way too easy. They got to the party after last call, and the Lannisters cleared the buffet and bar and noped out! lol

9. I can't help but to think that Theon will prove to be a valuable asset, to somebody during the great war.

He's coming for Yara.

The psychic scars of the Stark kids are showing, in vastly different ways.

She knew it was over for her house and her line. She went down swinging.

12. Cersei believes that she's the HBIC now that the guy from Iron Bank has come which will allow her to make some sort of deal in her favor, BUT as usual with Cersei, it will back fire just like all of her moves in the past that have eventually blown up in her face.

She's played this well, but has been relying on Tyrion's soft side holding Dany back. Dany isn't playing anymore.

12. So it is true that there's only 7 episodes this season? hmmm

Yup. Only 4 more this season. Hope they'll all count.

He's the only woke player in the Game.

I strongly feel like he'll be one of the very few characters still standing in the end.

3. Did y'all catch the beef between Sir Davos and Tyrion about Blackwater? falloff The testosterone was running high. lol

I saw some signs of mutual respect there too, Jon stopped Davos from playing the resurrection trump card with Dany. But you know that's coming.

Davos had a little bit of an episode I call "diarrhea of the mouth".

4. Did Cersei nearly rape Jaime? And doesn't Jaime seem awfully uncomfortable around Cersei these days?

It was a counterpart to that ugly scene at Joffrey's wake.

Oh gosh, I didn't want to remember that scene.

5. Poor Tyrion, his "clever" plans for Daenerys have all fallen through the cracks since he forgot that while he knows Cersei well, Jaime knows Tyrion very well.

Jaime is the MVP. He checkmated his much more clever brother.

Agreed.

7. Cersei's costumes as Queen are straight up FIERCE!!!! Sorry, but I just had to mention this.

Agreed.

It was way too easy. They got to the party after last call, and the Lannisters cleared the buffet and bar and noped out! lol

I'm wondering what the next move is for Casterly Rock.

9. I can't help but to think that Theon will prove to be a valuable asset, to somebody during the great war.

He's coming for Yara.

One can only hope he is.

10. Did anyone else burst out laughing during the uncomfortable reunion of Bran and Sansa? It surely wasn't like the other Stark reunions. True and understandably so. But as far as reunions go, I'm still waiting for Gendry to pop up somewhere down the line.

She knew it was over for her house and her line. She went down swinging.

That's what real queens do.

Good, because watching her let Tyrion take control over the strategic plans was a little bothersome. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Tyrion, but if you are queen, I would think that you at least throw some of your input in there and not let your hand have total strategic control. Now that Tyrion's plans have proven to be catastrophic fails, Dany has no choice BUT to step up.

12. So it is true that there's only 7 episodes this season? hmmm

Yup. Only 4 more this season. Hope they'll all count.

Damn. I did notice that they are speeding things up too....like Jon and Davos arrived at Dragonstone at warp speed and that raven that was sent from Dany to Jon arrived in one scene...whereas in seasons past, ravens took about a few episodes to arrive at their destination and travel plans lasted almost half a season. lol

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

So what does Jaime do with this new information? Turin still killed their father.

I don't k ow I still feel like somebody on Danys team snitched. Euron found those ships at night in a fog. That's a helluva coincidence.

So Bran gets to tell Jon who he really is, how does that change the game?

And will the dragons annihilate Jaimes army. I don't see Greyworm and Co. walking home, and I don't see Dany leaving them stranded

I knew last week that Lady Orlenna would be the target, not just for her betrayl, but for her gold. She was more rich in gold and not debt like the Lannisters. That is what Cersei will use to pay off the Lannisfter's loan.

Jaimie is uncomfortable with the new general of the fleet, because he can't be trusted. He is uncomfortable with the guy who is so blatant about wanting Jaimie dead. Jaimie is mindful of this, but still needing his help for the Lannisters regime.

Now, the table has turned toward the Lannisters in this fight. All there is in the fight is the North (busy with the dead) and Mother of Dragons against Cersei. With the bank behind Cersi and most of the 7 Kingdoms, the war is in her favor.

I think Cersie might bring the war to the Mother of Dragons. ( She can't attack the North in the Winter.) She just might try to starve them out by blocking all trade via the sea. Thus, forcing a battle with a surprise dragon killing machine.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Haven't seen epi 4 yet, shhh don't tell me.

But I'm still a bit 'unnerved' that Dany's throne is her birthright. Noting that Jon 'earned" his right to his throne even though it wasn't his birthright. She has earned her rights to rule somewhere but not necessarily all of westros by default. The only aruement for Dany is the current occupant of the iron throne is absolutely insane, angry and vengeful.
