How the heck are those branches holding up under that cat's weight?! falloff I used to love it as a kid when neighbors actually called the fire department to get their poor house kitty down out of the tree because he was to scared to do it by himself! razz lol

lol Sounds just like my cat, she would go into a tree then starts meowing for me to come and get her. But it's ok, I'm a good climber... which should actually be a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to have a cat. nod

None of our cats (not my grandparents farm cats) ever got stuck in a tree. hmph! lol

No, they were in and out cats. Maybe they just had more experience. I can remember one female cat we had when I lived with my Dad (he could barely tolerate cats) who disappeared for two weeks and came back pregnant. She was so apologetic that she left a dead rabbit in front of the front door when she returned! LMAO My Dad didn't appreciate it one bit. But Tiger knew how to take care of herself. This was in the days before people got their pets fixed. They didn't take them to the vet either. Unless they were farm animals that were important to farm business--like cattle, chickens, turkeys, or pigs.

Interesting story... we've had a dead rabbit before but only once and it was actually sad because it was a baby rabbit. As for the vet, we had to take the regretful decision to get our two cats fixed because as soon as they turned 5 months (they're sisters), we had a group of about eight feral male cats regularly waiting outside the back door for them confused lol
