At least everyone else in the AFC North loss. Burfict should of had personal fouls called on him.

I'll be convinced Dallas is for real if their o-line can dominate Minnesota's front seven.

Glad the Giants won, but I'm not a happy camper......allow me to rant....

1) BS pass interference call

2) inability to run the fucking ball

3) OBD getting a 15-yard penalty. That's straight up immaturity and selfishness.......thinking about himself and not the team.

4) Larry "Tip-Toe burglar" Donnell going soft and putting the offense in 4th & 1. If that's not an indictment of how bottom-of-the-barrel our TEs are, I don't know what is. Another fail by Jerry Reese.

R.I.P Dennis Byrd.

Stick a fork in the Panthers....they are done. Deion Sanders' rant on Cam's press conference had me rolling.

After seeing Miami shred Pittsburgh's defense, imagine what Brady & Co. will do.

WTF is going on with Aaron Rodgers?

Jerry is no idiot, but he has two passions, and they are in direct conflict with each other now. Winning and Money. Dak is the truth and should remain the starter. Romo is making lots and lots of money on the bench.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Like I said before, the Steelers have the tools, but the focus and discipline is still not up to par and affects their ability to consistently dominate. Can anybody tell me what the defensive strategy was because I couldn't tell? eek Mullets clowned our D all afternoon. Ben's game was off but this was still a game we should not have lost.

We still going to the Super Bowl though..... cool

On another note, what do Dallas Wowboy fans think of their QB? Do y'all want Tony Romance back or are you guys ready for a change? I say it's time. biggrin

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Patriots will win the AFC, and eventually the Super Bowl (unless the Giants are there). Brady is laser-focused.....nothing would please him and Kraft more than sticking it to the NFL and its lame ass commissioner by winning it all.

Burfict is the dirtiest player in the NFL

The NFL is reviewing two plays Sunday by Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict -- a low hit on New England Patriots TE Martellus Bennett, who said Burfict apologized after the game and stated it wasn't intentional, and an alleged stomp on Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount after a late touchdown.

The Bennett play came with 11:22 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Patriots' 35-17 win, on third-and-2. Burfict was seen lunging at the lower left leg/knee of Bennett as a pass was thrown downfield to receiver Danny Amendola for a 17-yard gain. Burfict's lunge might have been the result of QB Tom Brady's pump fake in that direction. Burfict also appeared to stub his left toe as he reacted to the fake.

Regarding the second play, coaches' film of the game appeared to show Burfict deliberately stepping on Blount's leg after his late fourth-quarter touchdown run, as Blount lay on the ground.

In reference to the first play, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said he wasn't concerned because "the league looks at every play."

"He goes on the pump fake," Lewis said. "We were coaching him to keep his head up in order to make a better football play and not react as hard as he can. He [Brady] pump-faked a couple of times and ended up getting sacks, or he pump-faked a couple of times and made plays for them, and that was one of them.

"From our coaching standpoint, we want to make sure, as we come in to defend the ball, we are able to defend with the arms so you have the chance to get the ball loose and off of them."

Patriots coach Bill Belichick said Monday that the Patriots would "let the league talk about that play. It's their decision."

A replay on the CBS broadcast showed that Bennett was slow to get up after the hit.

First of all how the hell do you not feed the best all around back in football
at least 20 times. He only had 10 rushes. WTF? Tomlin needs to talk with Haley and ask why and how that happens against the worst rushing defense in the league. Fucking ridiculous. I know Ben falls in love with throwing the football but sometimes you gotta dial it down and use Bell and Williams in the backfield. Hell they even line Bell out wide sometimes. I'm not afraid of New England and the truth is when we are healthy I'm confident we could kick New England's ass. Every team deals with injuries but the injury bug sure has bit the Steelers in the ass thus far. Marcus Gilbert, Ryan Harris-IR, Sammie Coates, Ladarius Green, Bud Dupree, Ryan Shazier, Cam Heyward, Big Ben, etc. I would just like one crack at New England healthy and hopefully that will come in the postseason.

This the NFL bud. Shit change every week. People were saying KC was gonna beat
the Steelers down after the debacle at Philly. Landry Jones don't inspire confidence but the Steelers will at least give a better effort at home than their
Jekyll and Hyde play on the road. I have to watch the Deion rant on Cam.
Cam is an ass. He's too much of a hot dog when things are going well and acts like a big ass baby when he gets his ass handed too him in post game press conferences.

Totally agree. I would go so far as to say that a powerful running game has been the definition of Steeler football in previous years.....that and a consistently effective defense. I want us to definitively recapture that identity.

I can't deny the impact of so many injuries though.

I'm not gonna jump on Tomlin and Haley but they have to recognize and exploit weaknesses when game planning against other teams. How do you not shove the ball down the Dolphins throat when they have the worst rushing defense in the league although the Steelers are down to their 3rd string RT due to injuries. The Titans came to Miami the week before and DeMarco Murray ran circles around the Dolphins defense. I remember a game two years ago when they played the Jets and loss to Mike Vick the Jets had the worst secondary in the league and the Steelers didn't throw the ball deep until the 4th quarter. That is my one complaint about Tomlin's coaching staff they don't seem to always take advantage of an inferior teams weaknesses.

Do you think they should start Mettenberger

Let me tell you about Mettenberger. When the Steelers signed him fans acted as though we won

the lottery. lol I watch a lot of LSU games because they are my favorite team in the SEC West.

Mettenberger sucked at LSU until his senior year when OC Cam Cameron refined his game and he played well but he wasn't no damn franchise qb. The only advantage I see Mettenberger has over

Landry is athleticism meaning he can get out the pocket where as Landry is stuck in mud and one dimensional in the pocket. I can't say Mettenberger's arm is that much better than Landry. Landry starts because he knows the offense better but if he plays poorly in the first hald I don't think Tomlin would hesitate to put Mettenberger in but don't expect him to be another version of Buffalo's ex backup Frank Reich. lol

He's been placed on injured reserve once they signed Mettenberger. His career is
done in Pittsburgh if not the NFL.
