Game of Thrones 6th Season

It's great to see that we can start back discussing our usual topics again. thumbs up! I've been itching to talk about the return of my man Jon Snow!!!! Yes, he's back!!!! The only thing is, what is different about him. Looks like so far his confidence has wained. And he's quit the Night's Watch, so where is he going to go??? And since Bran is back (yay!!!) and going back in time learning the truth about the past, are we going to find out that Jon isn't his half brother???? hmmm Arya, who has no name, has her sight back!!! Theon has found his balls (well not literally), saved Sansa but is going back home to confront his sister. But wait, Sansa has escaped sadistic Ramsey only for us to find that Rickon is now his captive...urgh. I love that Tyrion is running things for the queen but her storyline is kind of boring me. But anyway, having Jon back has been a highlight, given all that I've been feeling the past few weeks.

WE'RE BACK! biggrin I've missed this. *big sigh*

On to the show.

Only got to 2.5 episodes. But yeah I'm surprised they did bring Jon right back. Seems he remembers all the stabbing I would imagine that would shake up his confidence. So is Tyrion going to ride a dragon? I must see that.

I love how they are presenting Tyrion as if he's the King and showing off his much underrated leadership skills. thumbs up! He's so hilarious but at the same time, he makes intelligent moves. One would be a fool not to have him on their team...or "counsel" as we should say.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I don't know, in the early seasons, Tyrion was the cool cat amongst the bunch cause nobody liked him and nobody gave a fuck about his opinions.

Now he's, as you said, treated as a mighty respected counselor. I just miss Tyrion being this underrated dude, just walking to the Lannister meeting room where his father Tywin and his sister and the rest of the counsel took HOURS to discuss a problem and he just... cracks up a joke and at the same time hands a very intelligent solution.

But, we shall see. Btw I still think Littlefinger is the smartest character in Westeros. I think he's going be a unexpected threat to many.

Yeah its looking like they are setting that storyline up pretty well aren't they? I'm not sure if we will see Jon Snow next week, hope we do though because I want to know where he's going to run off to. In true GoT fashion, Sansa will arrive at the Night's Watch only to find that Jon has left. SMH. I'm sort of liking how they have Bran going back in time to reveal some truths. It's always interesting when legendary stories turn out to be lies or highly exaggerated. Don't know whats going to happen now that Daenerys is in Dothraki land...not sure I really care either. lol I really love seeing Tyrion rule. Oh and I'm ready for Cersei to devise some plan to get rid of the High Sparrow and his "followers". To me, they are dragging it out...that is unless there will be some kind of battle to occur in order to get rid of them.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

To me, he's still underrated and treated as such. He's still in this position of having something to prove even though he's no longer in Kings Landing, yet he's still handing out advice like a pro.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Most definitely! The High Sparrow is a pain in the ass and a religious one at it. Like, you might get the impression that this guy is just a troll and means none of it, all that seven Gods bullshit is his way to have fun torturing the Queen or something, but he's actually a true worshiper. Yet, fans want him to disappear as soon as possible. He's been living way TOO LONG for GOT standards.

Yeah, incredibly underwhelmed that Sansa is not going to meet Jon. (She's definitely not meeting him, that's GOT fashion just like you pointed out). Wonder what happened with Reek, and I agree Danny's plot is way too boring, it's as if all the boring Dothraki scenes from Season 1 have came back, and she's always like 'I'm gonna show you who I am, I have 3 dragons and when they appear I'm gonna show you no mercy', like, she's always too braggy about her having that long ass name... She's IMO a very average character in terms of intelligence.

As for Bran, the one thing I'm excited for THIS WHOLE SEASON is seeing Rhayegar Targeryan, like, in action, in a proper scene portrayed by a proper actor (With a white hair). They always talk about him, he's like a myth. We want to see the fucking guy.

Yes...I'm still amazed that he's still alive at this point as well.

Not sure what Theon's sister is going to do with him, but a serious conversation has been long overdue. Not sure if he would even reveal half the torture he endured by Ramsey but I hope that they will come to some sort of reconciliation and end up being in peace on the same side.

You do make a good point about Daenrys...she loves to recite that long title of hers, yet no one cares about in Dothraki land. lol

That would be incredible seeing another Targeryan. I agree, Bran's storyline is the one that interesting to me as well as Jon's storyline, of course. I don't think I could've survived not seeing his cuteness in the series. thumbs up! When he grabs Longclaw (his sword), it does something to me. I get chills. lol

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I like about 1/3 of the show by now. Basically everything up in the North, the rest I think is incredibly boring.

Now see that's what I was wondering about, don't these people remember this is the same woman who basically walked out of a funeral pyre. Bunk a dragon this woman survives raging fires. That's what hard headedness get folks.

So now we've got 2, 3 wars about to brew again? Maybe Sansa can give John his courage back. I can imagine the memory of having your brothers stabbing you and let alone the memory of what each stab felt like giving somebody second thoughts about charging forward.
Cersi's ready to pounce.

I don't quite get what Littlefinger's up to.

And though we didn't see them the Sandsnakes are raising an army.

Well I stand corrected. FINALLY, "reunited and it feels so good"...a pair of Stark siblings get the reunion of the century. Thank goodness, there's some happiness, although brief, for the characters in this show. Looks like Sansa is just what Jon needs right now, someone he trusts to push him out of his dark funk after coming back from the dead. Perhaps now he will take back his Lord Commander title and get back to being Jon Snow with confidence again. It was soooo good to see them hug each other. touched

Looks like Brienne has a secret admirer: Tormund lol

Littlefinger is snake...but a clever one.

Reunion #2 wasn't quite as pleasant, however, it was still good to see Theon back at home and trying to make some sense of normalcy. We've had enough seasons watching him being tortured, even if he deserved it or if it was overkill. Though he's stated that he's going to help his sister, why do I feel like he may still have some sort of secret side plan? His torturing experience has made him a much sharper person and no longer the dunce that he used to be.

It's about time that Daenerys again uses the powers that she has to get the upper hand.

So the big battles of the season looks like will be:

Jon/Sansa/Night's Watch/Wildlings vs. Ramsey Bolton and his army

Lannister's/Tyrell's vs. High Sparrows

I feel like I'm missing something.... hmmm

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

He seems for the most part fine, gun shy, but who wouldn't be, stabbing had to hurt a lot let alone betrayals. But he doesn't seem weird and scary.

I'm sad about Shaggy Dog, and the Wildling woman, I liked her, but I knew she met her match in this case.

Arya has her eyes and she's no one, whatever that means.

And where's Dani's big ole dragon, he really doesn't show up until he wants to does he?
