Don't you just love.............springtime in the city!

My favourite memory of this time of year is 1992, when I had just finished my school exams and was waltzing round without a care in the world,..... and when I HEARD that Martika song for the 1st time.....

What's YOUR favourite spring memory? smile What does your city look like at this time?

Any great Springtime memories are overshadowed by the horrible congestion and sneezing from the seasonal allergies.

As much as I hated high school, my favourite spring memories are taking class trips to New York City each April and -- much like you, domainator -- having completed all my academic requirements in spring of my senior year and simply cruising until graduation in June. When I think of that moment in my life, I recall the fresh spring air, the scent of Dior's Fahrenheit cologne (all the guys at my school drowned themselves in it disbelief), and Lisa Stansfield's song "All Around the World." Cool times.

Since high school, I honestly find spring rather depressing.

I HATED Fahrenheit back then! ill I dig it now, though.

Took more than 20 years to get over the initial inundation. smile

Various types of greens, some of it indigenous some of it not, including the brightness of fresh new grass green. Just a few weeks ago, I was just looking around falling back in love with my city, you could see in the distant layers trees in full leaf, and it's very hilly around here so there's rolling hills of it out in the distance against blue skies or ocean. Even the catus look lovely and fresh. Now the wildflowers are beginning to bloom, there are hills of a lot of yellow and carpets of purple and fushia.
