I loved the look on Eric's face through most of the show!

So, I will say, my thoughts about the episode are off kilter.
I didn't like the way this episode flowed. I need to watch it again.
I loved Eric and LaLa in this episode.

I'm reflecting that the Alcide thing is a variation of the books.
In the books Alcide is his father's second and his father is competing for Pack Master. Sookie is asked to listen in on the challenge to see if anyone cheats. Sookie "hears" that the other competitor is cheating, calls him out on it, but it is over-ruled by the pack.
Alcide's dad loses and is killed by the other guy. It was a sad thing in the books and totally unfair.
I think that's where the unfair advantage of the "V" is coming from. Alcide could totally rip out JD's throat except JD is using "V". Then, JD brings in an innocent human and Alcide wants no part of it.
Still pretty sucky though. Like Alcide has not balls.

I liked this episode. I think Stephen did a excellent job if it was his first time. The only part that seemed kinda awkward was the cut back from the flashback of his daughter.
Interested to find out who Warlow is.
Pam's scenes were good as usual.
Would have liked to have seen how Jesus was freed from whatever that brujeria was that had his lips tied and stuff... but whatever.

Okay..here go.
Okay so a little progress with Pam and Tara's mama vamp and baby vamp bonding. FINALLY.
I get all confused and mixed up with that Lilith bullshit story line. One minute they trying to act like Eric going to save the day because Bill in this looney state of mind. I don't have any energy trying to figure this shit out.
The reject anti-special human terrorist group just proved how dumb they really were. I was glad that Hoyt saved Jessica, but he still got issues. So is the guy in the truck the mysterious vamp who killed Sookie and Jason's parents?
Urgh, the cheeesy factor has to go already. WTF was up with the ghost vamp haunting Sookie? Urgh.
Last but not least, my favorite scene (tied with Lafayette's scene with the spirits) was Alcide fucking the shit out of that wolf lady. Lawd....

Last speculation I've been reading is that Bill is faking it and will come along and save the day.

Episode was so so, though I'd say Moyer did a decent job directing.
