Chyna Hospitalized After Collapsing Again at Porn Convention

0519_chyna_wheelchair_tmz
Former wrestling superster Chyna collapsed at a porn convention in Miami today and was taken to a nearby hospital ... TMZ has learned ... her third such episode in as many days.

Chyna was appearing at the 2012 Exxxotica Expo to help promote Vivid Entertainment's porn parody of "Avengers" -- she plays She-Hulk (yes, really). A rep for Vivid tells TMZ the company was worried about her after yesterday's medical scare ... but Chyna insisted she was ok.

We're told Chyna made it to the convention center today, but passed out in the lobby and was taken to Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.

As TMZ first reported, in addition to passing out yesterday at the convention ... she was kicked out of a party on Thursday night for her unruly behavior, which included passing out in a pool.

Chyna Kicked out of XXX Party Night BEFORE the Collapse

0519_chyna_exxxotica_launch
The night before Chyna collapsed at a XXX convention in Miami ... she was kicked out of a hotel party for causing a scene and passing out in the pool, TMZ has learned.

It all went down Thursday night at the Catalina Hotel in Miami (the same hotel where the new CW show "The Catalina" takes place).

The former wrestling star strutted her stuff at the XXX convention kick-off party. According to our sources, Chyna pissed off multiple party-goers with her crazy antics ... most notably when she jumped in the pool naked with a friend.

We're told at one point ... she actually passed out in the water. Our sources says Chyna was thrown out of the party after the pool fiasco and taken back to her room to sleep it off.

As TMZ previously reported, Chyna passed out yesterday in front on the main stage at the porn convention.

During last night's opening segment on RAW, John Laurinaitis announced that he had re-hired Big Show on Saturday, a day before he interfered at Over the Limit and helped Laurinaitis defeat John Cena. The problem with that is the stipulation was that if anyone working for WWE interfered in the match, they would be fired.

WWE realized the error and had Michael Cole fix it on commentary, stating that Show agreed in principle to help Laurinaitis but didn't actually sign the contract until Monday morning.

They also corrected it on their Twitter, writing, "It's official! @WWETheBigShow had a verbal agreement with @WWERawGM, but didn't sign a contract until AFTER #OverTheLimit! #OtungaLaw #WWE"

The general feeling within TNA is that Ric Flair will not be back. At least one top star in the company says that Flair quit and TNA is trying to make it look like it's the other way around.

Regarding a return to WWE, some in the company believe he will be brought back because of the WWE Network and because Triple H will go to bat for him to be used again. Don't expect to see Flair ever wrestle for WWE again because of the retirement stipulation.

Flair's new deal with Coca Cola for a new energy booster is said to be lucrative enough that he could leave pro wrestling and be fine. However, Flair's financial issues are likely lifelong, no matter what deal he gets. You can see two of the new commercials below:

'G.I. Joe' gets new marching orders, moves to 2013

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Just a month before its June release in the U.S., Paramount Pictures delayed the debut of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" by nine months after another movie based on a Hasbro plaything was trounced at the box office by "The Avengers."

Paramount on Wednesday pushed back the release of the "G.I. Joe" sequel from June 29 until March 29, 2013, in order to adapt the movie for 3-D screens, according to Paramount's executive vice president of publicity, Katie Martin Kelley.

The move comes after "Battleship," based on the Hasbro board game, debuted at No. 2 at the North American box office with $25.5 million in ticket sales, behind the still-strong "Avengers," which brought in a whopping $55.6 million in its third weekend of release.

Action films often get most of their revenue from 3-D showings, which cost a few dollars more per ticket and can boost a movie's prospects to make its money back.

March has proven to be a big month for movies because there's a lack of big-budget competition, according to Paul Dergarabedian, president of the box office division of Hollywood.com. This March, "The Hunger Games" premiered on March 12 and went on to make $629 million worldwide.

"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" also suffered from a lack of strong buzz online, according to Ben Carlson, president of market tracking firm Fizziology.

source: Associated Press

The Rock and Paramount took one look at the Avengers, Spider-man, and The Dark Kinght Rises, and decided they ain't want none of that smackdown. lol

that ain't the reason, if a film gets bumped back that far back it means it sucks and put it in a market where they can take the loss better

“Sheamus is being built as the next John Cena. Which is a good thing, because it will free up Cena to do other things in the future, like turn heel. Kids love Sheamus. He moves merch. He's good at press appearances and talk shows and junk. He's the best possible candidate to replace Cena as the top babyface. As far as the man personally, I don't remember hearing anything interesting. He's just a loyal hardworking guy. Last I heard he wanted to add a cloverleaf as another finishing move.

From what I've heard, Cena would LOVE to turn heel. The Thuganomics character was a lot more like his real persona, and I know he feels limited by being a face. It's the company and Vince that doesn't want to take the leap until they have an established replacement for him, which is most likely Sheamus. It's not just the show itself, but they need someone that can do all the Make A Wish stuff, the PR appearances, the sponsorships, etc that Cena does. Cena works his ass off for the company, and nobody else even comes close right now. So there's a lot of things lost in turning him heel.”

cena could turn heel and i still wouldn't give a shit. as 4 shemaus another snore fest just like borington. if WWE really wants 2 turn the corner, then they need more WRESTLERS like punk and bryan that can bring down the house with great matches like on over the limit.

as 4 the make a wish and bully campaigns, heel wrestlers can still be a part of that cause mark henry was at a bully campaign.

Cena need a whole new character .. I think it's too late for people now though.I can't see Sheamus having the impact that Cena has as a face either. I don't even feel he's a good face in general LOL. Even if cena was to go back to thuganomics that would become stale as well.

-Break Ziggler off from Vicki and Swagger, who needs all the help in the world. Give Ziggler a good program with either Kofi or better yet, give him a run with the WWE belt. The dude should be a main eventer by now. Oh, and have Kaitlyn be his valet

-Put the IC belt back on Cody. I'm looking at the roster on Smackdown and from the list, it would be wise to build these guys up so they can be formidable challenges:

Antonio Cesaro

Ted DiBiase (when he gets back)

Trent Barreta

Ezekiel Jackson

Drew McIntyre

Yoshi Tatsu (who they have jobbing to everyone lol )

-Change the WWE belt design

-The Tag team division......

The Uso Twins

Titus O'Neal and Darren Young

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd

Epico and Primo

DO SOMETHING WITH THEM!

WWE Star Chris Jericho Suspended for Desecrating Brazilian Flag

0524_chris_jericho_01

A WWE event in Brazil came to a screeching halt Thursday evening ... when local law enforcement stopped a live match and threatened to arrest Chris Jericho for desecrating the Brazilian flag.

It all went down during a match between Jericho and C.M. Punk -- who was proudly waving the flag in the ring. Jericho took the flag away, crumpled it up and kicked the flag out of the ring ... and that's when police stepped in and put a stop to the event.

052512_chris_jericho_launch

We're told Jericho was informed that desecrating the national flag is a crime in Brazil ... punishable by incarceration.

Cops gave Jericho an option -- apologize to the arena ... or go to jail. Chris chose the former ... grabbing the mic and telling the crowd he immediately regretted his actions. Cops allowed the event to continue.

Sources connected to the WWE tell TMZ ... the flag stunt was NOT planned or approved by WWE officials.

The WWE has just released an official statement saying, "Chris Jericho has been suspended indefinitely due to an irresponsible act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a WWE event in Sao Paulo on May 24. The WWE has apologized to the citizens and the government of Brazil for this incident."

update_bar

6:34 AM PDT -- Jericho has tweeted about the incident ... saying, " Just for the record I love Brazil and wish we could've spent more time here. Beautiful country!"

^^ The WWE is full of shit for "indefinitely suspending" Jericho. He was only doing what a heel usually does....fuck with the people/pride of the country they're in. The police already made him apologize, so why is the company taking this any further and suspending him? Just to save face, for a harmless incident like this???

This company is fuckin' PG in more ways than one. Vince probably would've congratulated Chris for this shit (or even admonished him for apologizing for it) if this was only 10 years ago. disbelief

Former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield came to the defense of Chris Jericho on his Facebook page today, who was indefinitely suspended for disrespecting the Brazlian flag at an event in Sao Paulo last night. JBL, who came under fire for goose-stepping around the ring to get heel heat at a WWE live event in Germany in June of 2004, noted that Jericho was simply trying to be a good heel.

"After seeing reports of Chris Jericho in Brazil-it was what I suspected--Chris trying to entertain and be a heel. Apparently a Brazilian Flag comes into ring and Chris grabs it and kicks it (or something to that effect). Compare that to Sgt Slaughter burning the flag [EDITOR'S NOTE: Sgt. Slaughter never actually burned the flag, he was asked to but refused] or all the crazy stuff that has gone on. This is nothing. EXCEPT we are in a new era and now that isn't acceptable.

"Chris did what most old heels would have done, he reacted and a decade ago it would have been loved for the heat. However, times change and we have to as well-Chris acknowledged this and apologized. Chris is a wonderful person and one of all time great entertainers-there was no malice here from what I see and know about Chris. A mistake was made and is being dealt with.

"As far as being illegal, please, if done in an entertaining arena it is considered as such. Like saying you can prosecute Anthony Hopkins for cannibalism because of his role in 'Silence of the Lambs'. I understand the arguments, I went through same thing in Germany and it was never considered a problem in Germany-only over the Internet and the Internet reporters. Chris' intent was to entertain not insult anyone in Brazil or the great Brazilian fans.

"Times change and for the better. Chris did what a ton of older heels would have done and he reacted. He is being punished and he apologized. He is one of all time greats and a great friend, old habits are hard to change but we must.

"Times change and we have to change with it, and we all will."
