Yes, the zoo in Boston has one. When we lived two blocks away from the zoo, we would visit almost daily and were able to witness almost ALL of the pupas hatching.

The best were the Luna moths. butterfly

That year I also donated a few plants to add to their encloure.. they let me garden in the space since I knew the owners of the zoo.

Yes, the Zoo in Boston has one. When we lived two blocks away from the Zoo we would visit so almost daily and were able to witness ALL of the pupas hatching.

We have one also at The Hendry Doorly Zoo... Pretty cool!

This is the last picture I took of my grandma (two weeks ago). She passed away last night, aged 95.

Thanks, Ivy. hug She lived a good, long life and didn't suffer, thankfully.

A couple months ago, she fell, injuring her arm slightly. They did a CAT scan (to make sure the rest of her was okay) and found a mass in her chest. Because of her age (and the fact that she's had worsening dementia for about the last year), the family decided not to treat what we presumed to be cancer.

Yesterday, she was in pain, so they moved her from assisted living to a hospice facility, so they could put her on a morphine drip. She went peacefully in her sleep.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
