Sorry guys... but this thread is so funny when I recall all the complaints about how awful other people's kids can be.

I guess if more of us in general didn't mind the little ones so much, then maybe parents would not feel such a need to be so controlling and spanking them.

Abuse is a different animal... spankings shouldn't leave scars of any kind. An abuser will find any way to abuse a child, they do not need to get physical if they are creative in their tactics. Abuse can come in many forms.

Just a few thoughts.

Okay it took me forever to get around watching this. First, (that's not nice but) "you bend over and take it like a grown woman" I'm sorry but what? Anyway Dad spanking his past puberty daughter seems a bit weird to me, yeah my dad spanked me, not at 16 (at that age is was hours upon hours of lecture, my friends and I agreed at the time we'd rather have the spanking, get the torture over with already), but that's cause there was no mom in the house. The parents tag teaming the daughter, weird, okay they're showing some kind of unity, still weird. This whole video seems weird, not shocking it just doesn't make me feel like gathering arms against or even for spanking, it's just weird and akward, and I've got a whole lot of question that nobody's going to answer so I shrug and say whatever, she'll live.

TOO WEIRD, I totally agree... and the verbal abuse

They were angry and it seems like they started the discipline in general way too late in this young lady's life.

Its like they were frustrated beyond reason and just went off on her. A bit too late and she knew enough to record the event. So they must have given her time to ready the camera before they came in swinging. Weird. Dad had time to cool down and they still went all crazy.

Looks like one of those cases where the behavior they thought was so cute when that girl was younger isn't cute anymore and NOW they've decided to spank, they look so akward, eh too many questions. But that grown woman part was new, never heard that one before

It does seem a little like a set up.

How often did you get a whooping like that and knew about that far in advance? And prior to the whooping it was PEACE AND QUIET in the house... no yelling, no lectures, no trying to 'splain what happened.... etc.

It does seem a bit staged. And it is not like this girl had lots of experience with this type of whooping to EXPECT it. If she was getting whooping like this all along... she would not need to be whooped at 16. The ground rule would have already been set.

Good eye, I didn't notice the weirdness before and now it is so glaringly obvious.

I didn't see anything that would make America to get all spasmatic for. He took away her priveleges like a Mercedes, well blackmail time. Seven years to release this? Oh come on. The judge is not going to be prosecuted, but his position may be in jeopardy.
