And why would that be relevant? Any person can be intelligent or stupid, whether they are young or old. Age makes you more experienced (usually), but certainly not more intelligent. And it's logical that any argument is based on personal experience, not the quantity of experience.

Have you ever met a very intelligent ten year old? I have. My daughter is 9 scores horribly on tests due to her dyslexia but has a wisdom far beyond her years and has shocked adults with it, not just me. Yet there are some things you would or at least should feel uncomfortable saying to her. If she smarts off at me in an arrogant fashion I will say something but not nearly what I will say to her 10 years from now if at 19 that same noise came from her mouth. And if she speaks like that at 29, oh, she will be sorry.
