That's the dumbest ending to Raw I've ever seen. Where was Nash, Punk, Johnny, and Trips?? Who gave a fuck about Cena - with his coming out to save the hometown hero so he can get some cheers (yet he still got some boos) - and what he thought of ADR?!! Booo!!!!!

And, was Cena not watching when ADR JUST defended the championship?? He said there'd come a time when he'd have to defend it. Um, he just did, ya dumbass!

Nash didn't do too bad on the mic, considering he hasn't been on the stick in almost 2 years AND he was up against one of the best in the game in Punk. He got a couple of good burns in on Punk, too.

yeah i caught that shit too..oh wait "flash the hands in front of ur face" that was a non title match LOL

the whole where did they go could be a storyline arc and u know what stephanie said 2 punk was something of a fishing rod cast

And, Cena's bitchin' about ADR cleanly pinning someone after a tough match with a MITB contract - a contract he won by defeating 7 other men in a grueling ladder match - is hypocritical because, um, didn't Cena do almost the eact same thing when he beat Mysterio 2-3 weeks ago on Raw??! Mysterio just beat Miz for the belt, and then Cena asks for his rematch for the same night later on. He can be mad all he wants, but it's about time he goes back to the bottom of the pile.

If anything, Punk should be the one who gets the rematch, and that would be AFTER Cena/Punk have their rematch to determine the REAL winner of their match up from SS.

God, I hate Cena!

My kids begged me months ago to get tickets to RAW when they went on sale (we live in San Diego).

I refused...and thank God.

ALBERTO DEL RIO IS NOT A MAIN EVENTER.

Lol!! I actually like ADR. They just haven't done him any favors with how they've booked him and the same ol' promos they have him give. He's cool to me, but I never did understand the fascination the WWE brass seemed to have with him. It's like they took one look at him and automatically wanted to put the belt on him, stat. It's obvious that they wanted him to fill the void in the Latino market left by Eddie's death 6 years ago. Mysterio's on the downside of his career, so who else was it going to be?? Vince desperately wants to get them Latino dollars, as he feels it's a huge untapped market for "American" style wrestling, which he's right.

Yeah...it's all about the dollars...or pesos.

The guy is serviceable...should be a multi time IC or Tag Champ.

But not the WWE Champ...not the main event...at least not yet. I mean, come on...does Vince actually think that when he tours Mexico or Spain like they did a couple of months ago that folks are coming to see Alberto Del Rio? No...they go for the WWE experience.

Just as many folks would show up to see Punk vs. Cena for the title...no matter the racial demographics.

Evidently there is a lot of wrestling at the Gathering of the Juggalos, including their own... I don't know... league, I guess. They have their own cast of wrestlers and their main event is called Bloodymania. lol They also had legends matches this year with some really big names from wrestlings past. And I guess a lot of it (all?) was available on PPV. Nothing else to say, really - just thought it was interesting.

And no, I don't actually know much about ICP or Juggalos beyond the fact that I think both are ridiculously lame. But Billboard did four days of coverage fro... this year and I read all of the articles (slow weekend).

Hey, I'm with you! It's not like blacks, Latinos, or any other ethnic group won't show up to a WWE event unless one of us is the champ or in the main event. But, that isn't Vince's line of thinking. He thinks if there's a person like us at the top, we'll just blindly open our wallets and follow the product. Um, no Vince.

ADR would be further along if they booked him a lot stronger than what they have. Hell, they JUST cleanly jobbed him to Punk just last week or the week before.

Yeah. Thursday through Sunday I think. I was surprised by the amount of "names" they were able to get for the legends matches. Must have been offerering a decent check.

I read a HORRIBLE review of their iPPV this weekend...WAY late start, no-shows, crappy matches with crappy finishes. I for one am stunned these guys actually have any kind of a following...music, wrestling or otherwise, but they must be doing something right. They've been around for a lot longer than their talents wold suggest.

On a side note...Ring of Honor held their first TV taping this past Saturday. Lots of complaints that the show was too long (they taped 4 episodes in one night) with 10-15 minutes of downtime between matches where NOTHING happened. But the matches were reportedly AWESOME, namely Davey Richards defending the World title against Roderick Strong and Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas defending the tag titles against Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero.

ROH starts airing Sept 24 and reportedly the show will be available for free on their website.

Counting the days...

Trust me...ROH is awesome.

The past few years have been a bit shaky, but from inception (2002) up until around 2008 (when their head booker Gabe Sapolsky left to form Dragon Gate USA)...just ridiculously good. Very reminiscent of ECW during their heyday with a little less emphasis on the hardcore and a STRONG emphasis on wrestling.

The closest America has ever come to having a full fledged puroresu league.

Main issue they're going to have is cosmetic...they look like an indy promotion. Not as cheap looking as the high scholl gym stuff you see on youtube, but no where near the "sparkle" of WWE or TNA. Very dark.

Rumor is they're cleaning that up for the new TV show.

Can. Not. Wait.

ROH tapes an entire month of shows in one damn night. I forgot where they said the tapings for November and December will be (damn, is it THAT time a fuckin' 'gain??). Or maybe they said it'll be announced soon.

I did hear it was a long ass night, and there were some audio issues and whatnot, but the people in the crowd were troopers for when they had to redo something because there was a technical difficulty. So, they had to tape it again or even another time.

I do hope ROH can start getting on the same level as at least ECW in their heyday real soon.

Are the outcomes scripted or is just shoot? That would be pretty cool

Do they also do promos and storylines or is just straight up wrestling the whole show through?

Nah, everything's still scripted, and they do do promos and have storylines, too. Like Stoned said, they just definitely looked like an indy promotion. No fancy bell or whistles, not the greatest of lighting, basic graphics, etc... But I'm sure all of that is going to be improved upon, especially since Sinclair purchased them back in April/May. That was one of the reasons it was done was so that there could be more capital going into the product.

I hope Truth can move onto a meaningful feud, but who would that be with? I want him to at least get the US Title, but Ziggler, another heel, has it, so that's not gonna happen. Is he destined to continue feuding with Morrison? They won't let him near the top again, so that's out. imo having truth on smackdown would be a bad move simply because truth works better with a live crowd and by that i mean a live broadcast that can't really be edited over days like smackdown does.

I hope Truth can move onto a meaningful feud, but who would that be with? I want him to at least get the US Title, but Ziggler, another heel, has it, so that's not gonna happen. Is he destined to continue feuding with Morrison? They won't let him near the top again, so that's out. I almost think they SHOULD put him on Smackdown and have him feud with Boreton over that show's title. Though, we all know how that's gonna play out. If Christian can't even hold on to the title for 30 damn days, there's no way they're gonna give it to Truth, even for 30 damn minutes.

during truth's match i noticed a fan had a sign that said the new face of crazy and it was truth's picture underneath ..lawd have mercy

imo having truth on smackdown would be a bad move simply because truth works better with a live crowd and by that i mean a live broadcast that can't really be edited over days like smackdown does.

Yeah, I agree. I think he does better in a live broadcasted setting too, but I also want him to get a damn belt and some respect! So, I don't know. He's worked way too hard to just be dropped back down to the midcard again like some nobody jobber! He's been the NWA Heavyweight fuckin' champion, dammit!! mad
