Having dealt with vodka induced suicide in my family in the recent past, I'm not sure I could have said it better. It may not solve all the problems, but it sure as hell ain't gonna make things worse.

He was totally wasted after drinking an entire bottle of tequila. I know for a fact that if he was sober none of this would have happened.

Ok, so I said 'he'...whatevs.

Dude has had a really rough go in the last 2 weeks. He finally ended a long term relationship, then last week he lost a family member, and then he found out that our majority government cut his department so he's lost his job. Add to that the fact that he's always had an issue with substance abuse and we come to last Sunday.
