just saw this preview last night...as i was sitting with my friend who is tall 6 foot 2 and BUILT like rock. muscles in places most don't even know existed. then right after the preview he turns to me and says "we should definitely go see that".

My son is big time into UFC stuff.

We not long attended a fight show 2 weeks ago. I thought it would be horrible. It's not as bad as I thought it would be. My sons instructor was fighting a guy in that pen thingy. It did not last long as there was a problem with the floor so they had to discontinue it. (they had a problem throughout the fights prior). After they fixed the damned floor (underneath the floor), it continued on with the big card of the night that everyone was waiting for Ryan Ford!!!

My son attends a training gym 2x a week doing the kick boxing thing.

but to answer the question, no. i'm not a fan of people beating the bloody hell out of one another, so i don't "intentionally" watch it. i do have friends and know people who like or LOVE it and have seen more than enough of it. i can't tell you how many times i've been invited to a pub or friend's house to watch one of these matches. hmmm, a bunch of (i'm sure, mostly) guys, who weigh more than a house, cheering on two other big guys beating eachother in a cage, yelling at the screen, then add in alcohol??? yeah, sorry i missed that. maybe next time.

i don't mind when they "wrestle" though.

Yes i've always thought that its such a contradiction that people see this as a macho sport when really it looks like two guys having sex.
