TMZ.com is reporting that WWE legend "Macho Man" Randy Savage has died after suffering a heart attack while driving.

TMZ spoke with Randy's brother, Lanny "The Genius" Poffo, who told TMZ that Savage suffered a heart attack while driving at 10am in Tampa Florida this morning, lost control of his vehicle and crashed.

Randy Savage was 58.

According to the Florida Highway patroll, Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median, into oncoming traffic and "collided head-on with a tree."

Savage was taken to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.

Savage's wife was a passenger during the time of the accidnet but survived with "minor injuries."

I just gotten the bad news about Randy moments ago. sad And this sucks the worse because Randy & Lenny already lost their father Angelo Poffo a few years earlier. disbelief

Not ONLY will I remember Macho Man for his wrestling, but I'll also remember him for guest-starring on the "Johnny Bravo" cartoon as, of course, a wrestler. touched

I hope they at least do a little memorial montage for him at the beginning of Smackdown tonight. There should've been enough lead time to slap something together.

They for damn sure should do it for the upcoming PPV this Sunday AND do a 10-time ring-the-bell salute at the beginning!! McMahon better forget about him fuckin' Stephanie or whatever it was that got him blacklisted from the company! This guy is indeed a TRUE legend! sad

i tried catching the beginning of smack down but by the time i turned 2 it the logo of WWE was fadiong out so i don't know if they did or not. it would be cool at the beginning of the PPV on sunday but more than anything it might be until mondy night raw.

not many know also that in the first spiderman movie, randy is the wrestler peter parker faces b4 uncle ben gets shot.

2 this day one of macho man's best lines 4 me "oooh yeah i see the lust in ur eyes for elizabeth!"
