I know it sounds negative, but I'm being 100% honest. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has thought of this. I'm not saying that everybody on the org are not nice people, because I have interacted with some very cool, nice people on here. BUT there are also some people around here that I, quite honestly, would not want to spend money on for a gift. If I got their name for the Secret Santa, my reaction would be, "Oh heck no!" I'm sure there's probably people on the org who feel the same way about me, but that's life. You don't always like everybody you meet. Call me The Grinch or whatever, but that's my honest opinion.

It's good to be honest.

I'm not saying it's negative to not like everyone. I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge that I would not be jumping for joy if a couple of orgers turned out to be my SS. I'd like to think that maybe I'd put my issues with them aside and still get them something and move on, but if not I definitely would not let that keep me away from joining in the fun with the rest. Like Ren said, I'd just let whomever coordinates the whole thing know what my issue was. It's silly to miss out because of fear of something that might be a complete non-issue.

Last year I had a few "Uh-oh" orger match ups... people who frequent P&R...

(a cold chill fills the room *shudder*)

They agreed to be cool about it (no pun intended ) and it turns out they had A GREAT EXPERIENCE !!

i had so much fun last year! and i recieved awesome gifts from my secret santa. i'm going to join in this year too.
