A Patch of Blue was such a sad film. Sidney's performance is overshadowed by Shelly Winters. Shelly...another underrated talent.

The Critters series is a real starmaker! You've got Billy Zane and M Emmett Walsh in there too.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio - Titanic

2. Denzel Washington - Malcolm X

3. Meryll Streep - I can't say that I've seen very many of her movies to make an accurate choice, but I thought she was awesome in Doubt

4. Angela Bassett - What's Love Got To Do With It

5. Sidney Portier - To Sir With Love

6. Michael Douglas - Fatal Attraction - maybe not his best, but most memorable for me, this movie scared the SHIT outta me when I first saw it.

Agree on all counts. And I just forgot the name of the actress who played the blind woman in "A Patch of Blue," but she was really good in that movie as well. She later committed suicide. Elizabeth Hartman. Just thought of it. So sad.

sad I just googled her and found out she suffered from depression. She committed suicide by jumping from the 5th floor of a building. Terribly sad.

DAYUM! I didn't know that! APOB is one of my all-time favorite movies. It's right up there with TKAMB. Awh, man. That's so sad because she was a great actress. sad

^ INCEPTION!!! It's great but damn, damn, damn, if that ending had me participating in all kinds of debates. I think he got out of dreamland. What say you Harl??

Nope, he didn't.

Remember when he said that the twirly object never falls when he's dreaming? Well, it didn't lol and you're right, me & my husband went back & fourth with this.

I don't know if its for any significance but by the end, he wasn't wearing his wedding ring either hmmm which tells me that Nolan is enjoy his lil' mind games he threw on us.

I absolutely love the movie, I've watched it 3 times to break it down and each time I'm fascinated(and have discovered new details),,,,you know Nolan was on some other shit when he took the time to do this project. Nobody I know seemed to enjoy it though lol

didn't it fall down after all the credits rolled up? confuse

Yeah Leo wakes up, wipes the dribble of his chin and starts jabbing his wife with his morning glory

....she's really dead though smile
