You don't need much makeup. And you always wear lipstick when going out.

I never liked mascara, but might wanna look into foundation again.. my face has gotten darker so I know the "Tawny" shade the ladies at the Fashion Fair counter had me use in my teens & 20s won't match anymore lol if they still make that color

Lawd "Tawny" brings back memories.

The Prescriptives coutner I worked was across from Fashion Fair. Me and the girls just blahblah all damn day in between clients. lol

And when I did freelance makeup, I did a few events for them. You know some of the ladies were skurred at first when they sat in my chair cuz I'm not black (I guess like one might be with getting one's hair did lol) but I worked their faces FIERCELY and had them lookin sexy .

I also LOVED their huge seasonal eyeshadow kits. I used them on Ms. Demeanor. nod

Okay...

I encountered major "bitchiness" today at work, so I couldn't stay online. pout

Like I said, I"m not big on makeup. My skin breaks out easily, and I don't think it flatters me. John, I'm not doubting your skills, it's just not me.

I talked to "my gay" Jarrett today, and I told him about this thread. He was dying laughing!!

He said I should get points for longevity, since we've been together for over 35 years. He said a low ranking in the organization reflects poorly on him. wink

mushy

Tell Jarrett there's no need to check into the Gay Relocation Program just yet.

What's the verdict on Mishi Bags?

See, I feel about them the way ya'll feel about Crocs, but the women I work with L.O.V.E. them.

I've been thinking about getting the sandle-y, heeled Crocs, 'cause they're comfy. Yeah, yeah I know, but I'm thinking of them as "training heels" because I haven't worn heels in like 17 years and I'd love to wear them again, but they kill my lower back. heh heh...I must be wearing them wrong if they hurt my lower back. giggle

Anyways, ruling pls. purse

I love my flip flops, I guess I have about 50 pair already love. They are just perfect for me and I regret that I only started to wear them in the summer of 2007.

I wore high heels to the Prince concert this tuesday and had matching flip flops for my way there and for the waiting time in front of the venue and club. They were wedges though (sorry Lynn), but really beautiful IMO and perfectly matching my outfit in a 3 colour design. I don't think I am gonna wear high heels any time again soon. I used to wear them from time to time, but my feet are not made for them sigh. Even if they are really comfy like the ones I wore for Prince and even if I pretty much only sit in them (which of course was not the case for the Prince concert as he played for nearly 3 hours and I wore them later to the club too), that hardly makes a difference. It's the position a high heel puts my feet into bawl. My feet hurt all night after I wore them. My bones just "spring back" in the "high heels position" like in a cramp and I always woke up because of the aweful pain and I had to put them back in the "normal position" with my hand which hurt again cry. I was nearly in tears because of the pain. While I was wearing them they hardly hurt and mostly because somebody jumped on my toe during the show, but that night was horror cry. If I wear them for too many hours that pain might already start while I wear them. That never happened until about 5 years ago, but since then I hardy wear high heels anymore.

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

OH HELL NO!

I've NEVER owned a banana clip in my life. I thought they looked WORSE in black women's hair because they made most of them stick out! hmph!

I was shocked and appalled to see that they spoke fondly of them in the article.

The operative word here is looked - past tense. Hopefully, at least 20 years past tense. disbelief
